I am pretty disappointed with the comments that came after the article. There was a lot more negative responses about Twilight than good ones, but that’s obviously because the responses came from DIE HARD Harry Potter fans, who are EXTREMELY Devoted to Harry Potter. I wish they never even brought up the whole comparison between Twilight and Harry Potter. They are NOT similar stories! The only Similarity is that both authors are women who both wrote book series that have become a HUGE success! I believe that what draws us to the books are a combination of relating to Bella. Knowing what it’s like to fall head over heals for someone. Also, we all have this perfect guy that we’ve made up in our minds, and Stephenie has just put him on paper and brought him to life! Lastly, combine all of what I just said, and add in vampires, wherewolves, superpowers, some intense action, a life or death decision, and a love triangle, and you’ve got a HUGE hit for a book series! How could you NOT like it?!!!!!!! I think this whole comparison between Harry Potter and Twilight needs to just STOP! I bet that if they never did that, then the Harry Potter Fans would have been a bit more open minded about the Twilight series.
( I guess you could say I’m a DEVOTED Twilight Fan!)
