MTV, MTV, & more MTV about Breaking Dawn in NYC!

Lots of new MTV reports about the Breaking Dawn release in New York… First, MTV News correspondent Kim Stolz, who also hosted the concert and interviewed Stephenie before the event, participated in the TwilightLive panel at noon. Read the MTV summary of TwilightLive here and hopefully we can embed all the videos, too. The first video is of Kim chatting with the panelists. Lisa, we know you were on the panel. We heard you on the podcast.. were you avoiding the cameras? Where’s your report? Twilight Series Theories has put up several already…. here’s the link to their take on the MTV coverage. We haven’t heard a peep from you for what seems like days now. We want the TwilightMOM inside scoop! There were other TwilightMOMS in the audience. We heard you guys! Nicole Guanlao, who calls herself both a Twilight fan & an MTV staffer, posted her full report with great pictures (including one of her unplanned encounter with Justin Furstenfeld after the concert) here in this article titled “One ‘Twilight’ Fan — And MTV Staffer– Has Night To Remember At Stephenie Meyer Concert Event.”
In this video, Kim Stolz talks to fans who show off their Twilight Tattoos after the concert with Stephenie Meyer and Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October. Link is here, too, if video doesn’t play or disappears or whatever it is that happens whenever I try to embed videos in a blog post.
In this last video (link here, just in case again), Twilight fans finally get their hands on Breaking Dawn when it went on sale at 12:01 am. This scene looks familiar to you, doesn’t it? It could be almost any one of you reading this blog- there at midnight, buying the book. Just minus the MTV cameras following you around, right? Or maybe you waited ’til a sane hour of daylight or for Amazon to deliver as promised? So, tell us, how did you get your copy of Breaking Dawn?

I was there at Borders from 9:30 p.m. to 12:15. It was mostly a young crowd, but during the trivia contest I actually won a prize (a bracelet) for answering a question correctly. Score one for the TwilightMoms! (The emcee of the night said later, “I wanted to hear more from you — why didn’t you speak up?” Well, it seemed rude to rain on the parade of happy teenagers by inserting myself into everything…)I stayed up until 3 a.m., when I couldn’t read anymore, woke up at 8:15, and read until 11:30, when I finished. Now I’m really eager to chat with others readers about it…

I finshed the book this morning I only put it down when I absolutly had too..I didn’t even eat all day Saturday..haha. Anyways me and my mom were first in line at Borders in Logan, UT at 9pm. It was way awesome. I have to say BD is my favorite of the Saga, everything so WAS good, even for Jacob and I am a Team Edward fan. I was so SHOCKED when I found Bella was pregno and second when Jacob imprinted on Nessie..that was crazy BUT Jacob will take care of her. I cried at the end because 1. It was sad to see Bella and Edward telling Nessie how much they loved her in cause she had to leave and 2. Because the saga is over

The TwilightLive panel was excellent! I took a few pictures, and I believe that Lisa was in one or two

The article quoted Lisa and myself. I was the TM speaking about my daughter’s being happy and Lisa mentioned the Undead…LOL. It was great fun and so wonderful to meet Lisa and many other TM’s.
