Stephenie Meyer- You Deserve a Month Away on Isle Esme!

Posted on 25. Aug, 2008 by in News

Many of the TwilightMOMS want a way to tell Stephenie just how much they adore and appreciate her.  There is a lot of negative press out there right now and this is a place to “share the love”.

I was fortunate enough to be able to meet Stephenie Meyer recently.  Can I just tell you I left that meeting on cloud nine.  It’s not often that you put someone up on a pedestal and they are able to stay there.  Stephenie Meyer is an amazing person, she is funny and down to earth and on the top of my list.  I’ve never laughed as hard as I did while talking with her.  (I nearly sprayed cranberry juice all over her because I was caught off gaurd by a burst of laughter) Although I may never have an opportunity to meet with her again I will never forget the absolutely amazing morning I was able to spend with her.

Stephenie’s books have brought so much joy to my life.  Because of the Twilight Series I have made some of the best friends.  Friends I can laugh with and cry with and who bring so much to my life.  After finishing the books last November I was motivated to lose the 20 lbs. I never took off after having 5 babies.  I could go on for a long time about the wonderful things The Twilight Saga has brought into my life.

Stephenie Meyer you are amazing!  Thank you for writing Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and The Host.  You are my favorite author and I doubt anything can ever top the fun I have had in the last 9 months!

Now it’s your turn to Share the Love!  We’ll either compile your messages and send them on or forward on the link to this post to Stephenie so she can read it if she chooses.

Thank you very much for writing these books. I have never read and reread books as fast as I have these. I loved Breaking Dawn and thought it was a great close to all the books. A little shocking in parts which made it even better. These books were introduced to me by a friend and because of these books our friendship has grown. I want to thank you again for writing the twilight saga and the host as well as any stories you may write in the future.

I have never been captured by a book series like I am with these. These characters are now my friends, and reading these books put an excitement back into me that I had lost. It has very much altered my life in good ways, and I didn’t even have to excercise or watch what I ate! Thank you Stephanie for sharing this world!

Stephenie deserves alot more then time away on Isle Esme, although that sounds like a nice start.
I can not even begin to describe how Stephenie and her books have changed my life. Shoot they have been my life for the past 11 months. The way that you feel when you are reading her books is just so personal that its almost undescribable, but yet at the same time there are so many others who have felt the exact same way and can understand what you mean.
I have met so many amazing and interesting people. Its like the second you find out that someone has read her books they are just automatically a friend.
And although I know she doesnt bring up religion too much, I cannot help but acknowledge how helpful she has been in making it easier in my life to talk about it with others. I just love that she is Mormon. Its like some people are just so suprised and then relaxed when they find out that she is Mormon. Its almost like people can realize for the 1st time that Mormon’s are people too.
Breaking Dawn was just wonderful for me. When reading it the 2nd time I was just really able to take my time and enjoy the story. Stephenie has definitely given me closure and left me satisfied!!!!

What is there to say except Thank You! I love to find authors who are not afraid to tell the story they want to tell. Your willingness to put your own twist on old myths is fantastic. I found it refreshing to not know where the story was going, and to have all my preconcieved notions about vampires tossed aside.
I have been touched by how you have responded to all the hoopla. Your are a true gracious spirit and I thank you for letting us into your world.
Through your writings I not only found a fun new world to visit, I have also found great new friends in your fans.
Sit down, put your feet up, and breathe. Remember it is uncomfortable not to.

    Stephenie,
You are wonderful! I don’t even know where to start. The Twilight universe is fantastic, I wish I knew everyone as well as you, if that were even possible. THANK YOU for that escape. Also, Thank you for sticking up for yourself and taking the story where you did, I loved Renesmee and the happy ending, and you were absolutely right for standing up for your story.
You are such an inspiration! You are so vibrant and honest and genuine, it is refreshing. While I look forward to future adventures with the Cullens, I understand and respect that you have to take care of you and you deserve what you want. Best wishes and happy relaxing, you deserve it.

    Steph,

You are an AMAZING writer! My student’s were the ones to introduce me to your books and I have fallen completely head over heals in love with them.

I fell in love with the Cullens just like Bella. I was so happy that they had a happy ending. Bella and Edward worked so hard to be together and they deserved a very happy ending.

I hope you take time to relax and enjoy, but don’t forget about Midnight Sun. I hope you get to tell Nessie and Jacob’s storry too.

Thank you for writing these wonderful books!

    Stephenie,

Like so many other who’ve left messages for you, I LOVE Breaking Dawn.

The entire series is wonderful; I’ve really enjoyed discussing the books with others. A neighbor and I became friends through the Twilight series. My husband is even eager to see the movie because of the Cullen cars!

I feel attached to the characters in these books and am thrilled that the Cullens (and Jacob) had a happy ending. I hope their will be more books….maybe from another POV? Nessie and Jacob?

Thank you so much! Please keep writing!

    Stephanie,
When I talk about you in first person, my friends think I am talking about a neighbor or a long time friend. Even though we’ve never met, I truly feel connected to your writing and the world of “Twilight” you have created for so many of us.

Who would have thought as a mother of 3 and too much housework/laundry/errands, I could get swept away into another world?? I am so grateful for the chance to analyze, discuss, and make deeper friendships through the series.

I love that you had “a dream” and went for it. We are all the better for you exploring your writing style and creating lasting characters we can all identify with.

Know that you are respected by many, young and old, and loved for what you have given us who stopped dreaming!!!!

    Dear Stephenie:

Thank you so much for sharing your Twilight world with us!! Your amazing creation is as thrilling to me as it is to my 17 y/o daughter. She knew before she was halfway through the first book that I would love it as much as she does. We both adore each and every book and have a wonderful time sharing our thoughts, posting in the forums and googling the latest pics from the movie cast!! LOL Thank you for giving us a gift that my daughter & I will always share.

    My Dearest Stephenie,

First and foremost, I must thank you deeply for sharing your amazing dream with all of us. I absolutely love that you write for yourself, and am so thankful that you decided to share this. Next, I must thank you for Edward :) Thanks to you, he now stars in many of my dreams hehe. I’d also like to thank you for Bella becoming a vampire. I know some people did not want it to happen, but I am so glad it did. I truly enjoyed reading the end of Breaking Dawn, and am so happy that she got what she wanted (and what I would have wanted!). Thank you for letting Jacob imprint on someone OTHER than Bella. I like Jacob, but Edward is a much better match for Bella. I am happy that Jacob could find somebody too.

I could go on and on thanking you for every single detail, but I think I’ll close with thanking you for giving me something I can read over and over and over without getting tired of it :) You are amazing!!

I cant begin to tell Stephanie how much I enjoyed her books. I used to work at Borders Book store in Key West Florida and while waiting for a new Harry Potter to come out i browsed the young adult section and found Twilight. I was hooked, and have bought every book in hardback since.

I loved Breaking Dawn, I thought the book was fantastic and I loved the way the story ended! Thank you for your imagination and I hope that you have more things for us coming. I am all a flutter at the movie and I will be at the midnight showing for sure!

Stephenie, you truly are an inspirational writer. Thankyou for giving me a wonderful place to escape to when reality was becoming too much.

I have always had a strong relationship with my teenage daughter and your books have added a dazzling bonus to it. Just when i was preparing to let my daughter become her own person, hang with her friends instead of me, (didnt realise how hard this was going to be ) out of the blue she stuck twilight in my face over and over again until i read it then pulled me into this amazing world … The world that Stephenie Meyer created.

I have never looked back, and my daughter is still here safe with me thanks to you. :)

I would just like the say thank you to Stephenie Meyer for changing my life. It may seem crazy to think that a book series can have such a profound impact, but the Twilight series has done that for me.

I’m a happily married 25 year old who is an English lit grad. I’m used to getting lost in novels, but I’ve never really and truly fallen in love with one. That’s really the only way that I can explain it.

Thankfully, my husband and beyond soul mate put up with my love affair with the series, even agreeing to read it himself. I’m happy to say that he fell in love as well.

I thought Breaking Dawn was absolutely genius. It was so complex with its concepts and relationships. I knew Stephenie would deliver the goods, but I had no idea how far she would surpass my expectations.

Thank you, Mrs. Meyer, for sharing your brilliant stories with the rest of the world. I hope beyond hope that after taking a much deserved rest, you decide to revisit the Cullen’s universe…and share the product with us.

Thank you for creating something so beautiful, real, surreal, and emotional. You’ve made my life better.

THANKS – NOT FOR YOUR BOOK, BUT FOR MINE!

    Oh Stephenie,
I wish I could thank you for Breaking Dawn, but I can’t… not yet at least. See, I’ve been too busy to read any books lately, because I’ve been writing my own! Ever since I was a kid it’s been a dream of mine to be a writer and thanks to your inspiring story (and overall sense of courage and total chutzpah!) I finally decided to give it a shot. So while I’m sure I’ll be thanking you for your latest book someday, TODAY I’m thanking you for mine! See you at the bookstores!

    My dear Stephenie,

THANK YOU for sharing your world with us.

Thank you for having the courage to write it down, and for believing in your dream enough to pursue it so that the rest of us could enjoy it, too.

Thank you for inspiring other budding writers with your advice, kind words of wisdom, and ever-present humor.

Thank you for providing a common thread that gave so many of us a chance to meet, to make new friends, to strengthen bonds with old ones.

And thank you, THANK YOU, for providing so many of us with a beautiful place to escape the dreariness of our everyday lives. Thanks to you, we have experienced new places, fallen in love with new people, and gotten the “happy ending” of which most of us only dream…

Thank you for being you, Stephenie, and for sharing your gift. We’re behind you all the way.

Oh Stephenie…….how you’ve changed my life. It might surprise you that I am 70 years old and completely, totally obsessed with your Twilight Saga. I LOVED every single word you wrote and was captured immediately and have never been the same since. I’ve re-read, re-read, listened to the audio books and just can’t seem to get enough. Please continue writing about the characters in the story….any of them. Of course, Edward and Bella have captured my heart as well as Jacob, and Alice. I LOVED Breaking Dawn and the endng, but it left me wanting more. Please don’t stop, I just may live 100 years and can’t do it without more of the story. Thank you for writing this story, they are the only books that I have ever read over and over, and I have red a LOT of books! nancyjo

Stephenie – I really enjoyed Breaking Dawn…I’m reading it for the 2nd time and as with your other books, find that it improves with repeated reading.
There were surprises…and they created a new direction for the relationships in the book..loved it. Loved The Host as well. You are talented and amazing. Can’t wait for Midnight Sun.

Stephenie- I really hope you read these and none of the negative stuff!! I loooved Breaking Dawn and so did all my friends and family who read it too. I haven’t laughed or cried from a book as much as I did in Breaking Dawn. I rarely ever cry in books (I can name 3 others I have cried in and I read a lot). But you do such an excellent job of getting us so emotionally attached to the characters that it is haunting… seriously I have stayed up many nights worrying about what’s going to happen to your characters.
Also, I really appreciate your taste in music and would love it if you continually post listening suggestions :-)
I look forward to any writing you do in the future!!!

Yay, I finally get to write to Stephenie!!

    Hi Stephenie. :)

I really loved all the books you have written to date. A friend gave me Twilight about a year ago. I was a little hesitant- are good Mormon girls supposed to read vampire books? Lol. I read your biography on your website and was so inspired that I immediately dove into Twilight. I quickly got my hands on New Moon and Eclipse, which i devoured. I loved The Host and stood in line at midnight for Breaking Dawn. It was superb. I especially liked where you went with Leah’s character. And as a Jacob fan, I was thrilled to see things through his eyes! The incident with Jacob and Rosalie and the dog bowl had me snorting my drink through my nose.

Not only do I love your books, but you have inspired me to pick up a pen and write again. I have three little ones and I have very vivid dreams, so who knows where that will lead?

Thank you for doing what you do, and please keep doing it!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU STEPHANIE!!

I’ve been reading romance novels since highschool; in the last 20 years Twilight is the first book to actually make me feel lovesick. I loved all four books in the series and constantly re-read my favorite scenes. If you write about the Cullen universe again someday I hope you share it with us; it’s a wonderful place to visit and I miss the Cullens already!

I also have to give an additional thanks for sparking my love of alternative music again. I’ve had “Time is Running Out” by Muse on my ipod for years. Now, thanks to your playlists, I have quite the collection of songs that I listen to everyday…keep those suggestions coming!

Your books and love of music have helped this 30 something Mom feel 10 years younger, I can never thank you enough!

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed and appreciated Breaking Dawn. I know that many fans are upset with the direction you took the story, but I thought you ended it brilliantly. I will admit there were twists and turns I didn’t expect, or was even sure I was happy about. But it is your vision, and I thought the way your shared it with us was wonderful. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Jacob’s perspective in the book. It was so insightful to his point of view, not to mention hilarious at times. I loved the banter between him and Rosalie. The blond jokes were classic!
Thank you so much, and I will be waiting for Midnight Sun to come out.
    With great appreciation,

Stephenie i just want to tell you ‘I LOVE YOU’ and ‘YOU ARE BRILLIANT’.

Breaking Dawn was the perfect happily ever after for my Edward and Bella. Thank you.

Breaking Dawn also gave me a wonderful love for Jacob. That guy is hilarious, I love him so much now, although I am still on team Edward. The part where Jacob imprints was so incredibly touching, I bawled out loud. W-O-W!

There is so much I loved about Breaking Dawn. I loved reading about Bella as a Vampire. It was just what I wanted. I was so glad she didn’t experience the “Newborn” behavior. I loved that she could control herself. I loved that her mind was her strength. And how great for her, that she was the one to save everybody. When she smiled at Jane I couldn’t help but bawl, again. You write amazing characters, the new vampire friends were great. I loved the ending, how perfect to end with Edward in her head. Yes- I did bawl here too.

Thank you for bringing this story to life. It will forever be one of my favorites, and one I continue to read over and over again. I will forever love Edward and Bella, they have a very special place in my heart. And now Jacob does too.

Thank you Stephenie, for more then just the stories. Through your books a whole new world has been opened up for me. I have found myself again, and I am a better wife and mother because of it.

THANK YOU STEPHENIE, YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

After trying to defend you on a forum, I’ve given up and found this, where I can fully express how much I loved Breaking Dawn without getting my head bitten off!
Yep, I loved it because of all the things that people are griping about. The only complaint that I would have was that it was too short! I so very much want more!
Like so many others, Twilight really s changed my marriage, for the better, which I’m sure for you is strange to hear, but nice all the same. I remembered what it was like to fall in love and it helped me realize that he was still right here in front of me!
I thank our Father in Heaven that you had that remarkable dream and that your sister urged you to get it published.

You could have kept this amazing story of Edward and Bella all to yourself, and I think we can all agree that we are so glad that you shared it with us! I just love the way you tell stories, I read The Host while waiting for Breaking Dawn and was sucked into that world just like with Twilight. Breaking Dawn was the first book release party my daughter and I have ever gone to and had our copy just a little after midnight to start reading on. I was so happy with all the twists and how you gave Breaking Dawn such a wonderful ending, LOVED IT!!!! This is one fan who will be behind you no matter what!

    Stephenie-
From one mom-of-three to another…thank you for the sheer escape from scouts, ballet, carpools, swim lessons and soccer. It’s wonderful to read such well written prose and well developed plot lines.

And let’s face it, Edward. The romantic hero is a perfect match to all of the ones that preceeded him – Mr. Darcy, Heathcliff, Rhett Butler and Romeo. Thank you for writing him.

You truly are a gifted, talented, amazing writer and I am blessed to have found you so I can enjoy some Quiet Mommy Time on occasion, at least.

Now back to the carpool pick up lane at school.

I can’t even begin to tell your what your books mean to me. Your stories are so amazing, I am constantly craving more. I don’t think there will ever be a point in my life where I will grow tired of the Twilight universe.

Twilight has offered me an escape. Whenever my life is getting a little too crazy or I become too stressed, I grab Twilight and escape to Forks (and Edward!).

    Stephenie,
I am so glad that you were brave enough to share your dream with us. And then as if that first leap wasn’t big enough, you have to continue to be brave by defending the story that you created. I truly believe that as people calm down and reread the books (which we know they all will, even the most outspoken negative ones) they will see that this was the only place your characters could have gone and I am so happy they ended up there! I have waited two years to read those final pages with Bella and Edward and it was worth every minute of the wait.
I admire you for so many reasons, for your talent, for your courage, for your calmness in the face of great adversity, and most of all for your tenacity in holding on to all of this epic love story and sharing it with us. Thank you!
You are an amazing storyteller and I look forward to losing myself in even more stories in the future.

Wow! And I thought I had great dreams…Now I know how ripped off I truly am in the dream department.
I have read and re-read and re-re-read all four books. (okay BD only twice)but that’s just because it only barely came out and I am trying to make time in my hectic day to still be the mom my kids need me to be and read The Host.
Thank you for sharing your amazing thoughts with us. I can’t wait for you to publish more works. You own me now! No matter how poor I might get, I will never be too poor to drive out to the nearest book store and buy a book with your name on it. Thanks for putting the passion back into reading.

SM, you have rocked my world!!! i read the first two books last june in 4 days. I scooped up Twilight at Walmart, where it had its own display in the middle of the aisle by the shoes!!! i started it Friday night and read it til the wee hours of Saturday morning. From page one when Bellas fave shirt was white eyelet, she was my girl. Thats my fave fabric in the world-white eyelet…sigh. I was almost done and was praying..hope theres a sequel..pleaz let there be a sequel…and then in the end the first chapter of new moon was there!!! I was giddy. I strapped my kids in the car Sat. morning and was off to buy New Moon. Then there was a third that i had to wait a month on…oh was i impatient!!! This story was one i dreamt about, and filtered all my thoughts through a “Twilight” prism…that is so bella….that song would be great in a Twilight Movie…AAAAAAAHHHHHH theres Bellas truck!!!!!!……you get it….i couldnt get it out of my head i ALMOST wished i would have read it b/c it consumed me!!!! then the year for BD….which i am rereading…what an wonderful outcome. You can really weave a story woman!! oh to have edwards power to be in your head..but then again youre probaly a shield lol!! i have read the first three books 8 or 9 times, and i still get that feeling. i seriously stop when i walk by my bookshelf and sigh and smile at these books….i have been known to hug them…lol. thanks a million SM and i cant wait for Midnight Sun….i was thinking one day how cool Twilight would be from Edwards POV what with knowing hes a vampire and the mind reading….then i get online and boom, youre on it!!!! you will have an undeniable place in the history books miss thing, as well as in the hearts and bookshelves of women and others everywhere!!!

I have to say that any negative commentary on this book is undeserved. Of the four, it is my favorite. It is the most mature, solid, heartbreaking, joyous, soulful, and fantastic of the bunch. There is nothing fluffy or about this (except the first bit about the “before” car–which was a hoot). The rest is just one heck of a substantive ride….thank you and looking forward to Midnight Sun.

Stephenie, have you no pity, woman?? Look at my home–a pigsty! My children, eating cold cereal for dinner and rummaging through baskets of unfolded laundry to find socks.
Yes, your books are that addicting. Oh! They are irresistible, fantasy worlds I’d rather not (and usually don’t) emerge from. I should have known to beware of Breaking Dawn, should have known it would be the epitome of wish fulfillment, should have known to teach the kids simple meal preparation before it came out. It was So Good. I can’t stop re-reading it.
My son’s primary teacher asked the class what their mothers do for them. His reply? “Well, she used to do nice stuff for us, but now she mostly just sits and reads…”
What I’m trying to say it thank you, thank you for my very favorite escapes. Every one of your books is enthralling. Your own story, too, is an inspiration. Plus I’ve lost 17 lbs while reading the Twilight series: if the Cullens can resist drinking human blood, surely I can resist that bag of cheetos ;)

Stephenie I think these stories are amazing, and I’m so thankful that you shared them with us. My daughters got me interested with all their talk about the books and what could happen next that I couldn’t resist checking them out. You’ve shared something magical that will keep me coming back for more whenever I need to escape the everyday ordinary of my life. I’ve read each of the books twice (the Host as well) and I’ve re-read my favourite chapters more times that I can count…

I love the characters and think that the way that it ended in BD was perfect, I could almost feel Edwards breath being taken away when Bella showed him her thoughts for the first time, like I said MAGICAL, wow. I look forward to Midnight Sun and everything else that you will write in the future, I like many others am Hooked and to me that is such a good thing!!

Thank you so much…a Fan forever,

    Stephanie -

I hope you can feel just how much you have deeply inspired and touched all of the wonderful women in the Twilight Moms family. I have always been a rabid reader, and I got a handful of books from Amazon last summer, Twilight being one of many. It happened to be the first I started, and I have to say that there are books from that purchase that are on my bookshelf STILL unread! I was immediately drawn into the Cullen’s world, and knew that I wouldn’t want to leave. I read Twilight between work and sleep, and rushed to the store on my lunch break from work the following day to continue the story. Finding Lisa’s MySpace page was just what I needed, and although I don’t get there as often as I would like to anymore, I want to thank you both for making me feel like it is ok to love these books as an adult! I have never in all of my reading felt so connected to a story, and completely involved with a character like I felt with each and every member of the Cullen family. I can finally read other books, but in between each I always re-vamp with the whole series! You have a gift as a writer beyond the Twilight Series proven in The Host, and I am just so greatful that you were so brave to share your stories and your friends with all of us. Through any criticism, I hope you know in your heart that your writing has impacted your readers tremendously and you are happy that the story has been told as it was told to you, no apologies and no negotiations necessary. We as readers will take what we will from the series, and personally I will never forget the feelings I felt the first time I read Twilight. My only hope is that you continue writing and sharing with us the worlds you see, I will be greatful to be invited in. Best wishes, can’t wait for the movie and Midnight Sun!

    Dear Stephenie,
I agree with Carrie. This book series has had a profound effect on me. My 20 year old daughter asked me to read Twilight so we could talk about it. I am a big HP fan, but, “I don’t know” I said, “Vampires?” After about 20 pages… I was hooked. What I realized almost immediately was that it was so much more than just a story about vampires. It was a beautiful love story that moved me like no other book ever had. Within a week I had read the first three books and shortly thereafter I had reread them all as my daughter and I anxiously awaited the release of Breaking Dawn. I searched the internet for misfits like myself, who were married working mothers, and was thrilled when I found this web site. I even got to spend some quality time in discussions with my daughter, Melissa, talking about our favorite parts from each book.
I really have one big thing to say though, besides thank you and how much I adore the characters you have created. As I read everything I could on the web, I was horrified to learn that some readers disapproved of certain parts of Breaking Dawn and the way the story unfolded. I was disappointed and angry that people could be so selfish! How dare they questions Renesmee’s name, and Bella’s maturity. I just wanted to somehow get a message through to Stephanie to say “I wouldn’t change a thing!” I love happy endings, and what a treat to have all the main players survive the exciting finish. Please Stephenie, don’t let these people get to you. Your story has changed lives and brought readers so much joy. I have read (and re-read haha) the first chapter of Midnight Sun that you posted and can not wait for what ever else you decide to write of the beautiful story of Edward and Bella (and Nessie and Jacob). Please know that you have millions of fans who adore you. With love,
    Janet

Thank you so much for the beautiful stories that you have allowed us the privilege to be a part of! I have not been so thoroughly sucked (no pun intended) into books in quite a while… I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, but these books touched me in a different way.. You have an amazing way with words.. I truly felt that during the last few chapters of Breaking Dawn, I must have become a vampire, because it didn’t feel like I breathed until the end! I am very thankful to have read these books as they have made a very huge positive impact on my life. It is amazing to learn your story & very encouraging to other aspiring writer mothers in the world.. Thank you so much!

Hi Stephanie. My husband and I both send our love for your books and our respect and admiration for you. We LOVED all of the books in the Twilight Series and are very happy with everyone’s fates.

I have so much I want to say, and I know that these messages aren’t supposed to be a short story of 200 pages so I can’t tell you all I want to. ;)

Thank you for all you have sacrificed to give us the amazing world of Edward and Bella; your time, your personal thoughts, your talent, your family, and the security of never stepping outside a comfort zone. Through your many interviews and personal blogs so many of us feel we really know you, although we may never meet you.

Thank you for being our friend.

I really appreciate your writing and am so glad that I found your books as it has given my daughter and I a new way to bond. If it were not for your books (ALL of them!) we wouldn’t have all our little inside jokes and conversations that I have come to enjoy so much. You have given so much to so many people so PLEASE try not to let the negativity of a few people effect you. Thank you so much for the characters you have created and for allowing us to come along for the wonderful ride!

Inspiration and Appreciation are the feelings I have toward a person I have never met but feel that I could connect with because of the books she has written. Stephenie, you inspire all that have been or are in love, you connect with levels of passion through your writing that many never consider visiting. Thank you for sharing the words that bring reality to an improved form of the possible through sacrifice, intrigue and imagionation. You are an amazing writer and as you can see many of us are grateful you chose to share this with the world – especially moms and wives!!
    Best Regards,
    Amy

When I was young, I used to write stories all the time. I had quite the imagination. When I “grew up” I needed to channel that imagination towards paying bills, being responsible, raising my kids. I read a lot and am inspired by the authors that I read. But something about Stephenie Meyer stayed with me. Something about how she comes out in her books stayed with me. Maybe because she’s a Mom to young kids, I don’t know. But she has awakened that imagination and creativity in me to write and I am eternally greatful to her for it. I’m sorry to all of those who can’t separate the book from the author because they have lost something special in their lives. Thank you Stephenie!!!!! Tammy

    Dear Stephenie,
Let me just say these books are the best books I have ever read. I know there are some people out there that did not like Breaking Dawn, but I think it was the perfect ending to the series. Please don’t ever stop writing. I also was thinking about mermaids. Funny you are too!!! Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. I am reading the Host now and it is very interesting and different. Thanks for all the great stories and you rock!!!

Along with the many hundreds (or thousands) of people, THANK YOU for the Twlight story. It has been so wonderful to escape into the world of Edward and Bella. Thanks to you, I am reminded of my talents and that I still can do them (to a certain extent anyway) with young kids. I can’t wait to read BD, The Host and whatever you decided to put out next!

Indeed Stephenie does merit a grand vacation on Isle Esme! It took my daughter 3 years to get me to read Twilight, and then I read all four books in 2 weeks! I am now rereading the series because I so enjoyed it the first time, I HAD to read it again! Stephenie keeps you on the edge of your seat and leaves you wanting MORE! I would love to see more books about the Cullens and the Blacks! Thank you Stephenie for such enjoyable books and interesting characters! I am looking forward to Midnight Sun, the first chapter was fantastic! BRAVO, Stephenie!

I don’t think there’s much I can say that hasn’t already been said. Thank you for sharing your dream with us. Thank you for being an amazing role model for moms everywhere. Thank you for an amazing experience on Aug 12 in Seattle. It was an honor for me to meet you, and have my book signed by you. I just can’t stop gushing to everyone about what an amazing story you’ve told, how you’ve held onto your values and integrity and told the story you wanted to tell. An added bonus for me was that you complimented my sweet “Forks is for Lovers” t-shirt that my best friend made for me. I’m really looking forward to the movie, Midnight Sun, and whatever else we’re lucky enought to get from you!
    Thank you!

How can I explain what your books have meant to me. The last seven months of my life have been overtaken by your stories, and I am not joking, ask my husband. My daughter and I have been brought closer in so many ways and I have had to stop and re-evaluate so many aspects of my life. It is not just a book to me and I don’t know why. How can I ever tell you how much you have affected my life and how can I ever thank you enough. I really hope you get time to read all these comments, you deserve to feel how much we love and owe you. (Please write more Twilight-based books!!!)
