 Here’s an attempt to catch up on the news from this past weekend!  Thanks debbie-dub for being so diligent at gathering our news!!   

 The Twilight Movie Premiere has been announced:

  The Penninsula Daily News (WA) has several reports from Forks about Bella’s Birthday Celebration that took place there this past weekend.  TwilightMOMS are mentioned several times in each…YAY!!  Read the articles here and here.

  Shock Til You Drop reports: “The MPAA weighed in on…..Twilight, opening November 21st, [it] will arrive PG-13 for some violence and a scene of sensuality.”  Read it here.

  Blast Magazine is reporting that the Twilight movie will unfortunately, not be getting an IMAX release.

  Elle Magazine will honor Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, along with many other women, at its 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute, October 6th, in Beverly Hills.  Way to go Catherine, TwilightMoms love you!!  Read about it here.

  X17 Online has several snaps of Robert Pattinson out and about, as well as video of Robert discussing the VMA Host (that shall remain nameless) and the controversy of not being able to utter his line.  Robert is his usual gracious self (his parents should be proud of him!)  See the pics and video here.

   UCLA’s Daily Bruin TV has video of Robert Pattinson on the red carpet at the VMA’s.  DBtv’s Noah Reich asked Rob what’s his favorite VMA moment of all time; as usual his answer is surprising. Rob appears at about 1:19 in the video, here.

 Novel Novice Twilight has  posted their Twilight Lesson Plan for Teachers.  “This is a teaching guide for using the Twilight series in the classroom, written by Novel Novice Twilight founder Ms. Truitt. They are geared for grades 7-9 and include a variety of activities, ranging from project-based assignments to reading comprehension questions.”

Novel Novice also has some Back to School-themed Twilight Downloads to dress up your desktop or lockers.
