MTV has an article on the “TwilightSoundtrack to include Muse, Linkin Park and, of course, Robert Pattinson, along with Iron & Wine, Collective Soul and others also join previously announced Paramore and Perry Ferrell.” Read the article here.

The Hollywood Film Festival will present Robert Pattinson with the New Hollywood Award, an award that  recognizes both emerging and/or rising stars in the film industry.  This award, along with many others, will be given out on October 27th at the Hollywood Movie Awards Gala Ceremony.  See the list of all honorees here.

 Edi Gathegi (aka Laurent) will be guest appearing in a new ABC series called Life on Mars.  It premieres this Thursday, Oct. 9th.  Edi’s guest role will be in the 5 episode titled “Things to do in New York when you think you’re dead” and is due to be broadcast on Nov. 6th.

Twilight’s Michael Welch (Mike Newton) will be taking part in a Q&A session at the TwilightLivepodcast at Borders in Westwood, Los Angeles, on November 16th, 2008 (the afternoon before the Twilight red carpet premiere) at 2PM.  The Los Angeles TwilightLive will feature panelists from TwilightSeriesTheories, Imprint (the podcast of TwilightSource), His Golden Eyes, TwiCon, and more. Podcast discussions will include topics on the Twilight books, movies, and fandom.  Michael will also be signing autographs, bring your own material for signing.

 Twilight 20 Somethings has a “special project going on for the month of October ~ Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Along with their site ‘going pink‘, they’re trying to raise money to donate to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.”  Get all the details here on their website.
