Call me crazy but I ADORE Taylor Lautner! I’d be SO sad if he didn’t return in the role of Jacob Black. He can hold his own on screen and would do justice to Jacob in NM in the starring role.
But what do you guys think?

i think all of this news is downright scary. rushing to complete a screenplay. rushing to pick a director. rushing said director directly to vancouver for preproduction. rushing to film. rushing to edit. rushing to complete by november of next year? for what? our money? don’t they realize that the reason why twilight has done so well is because it was halfway decent, and we went back to see it multiple times…if new moon stinks, we will not go back!

This all is making me feel very uncomfortable………..anyone else feel the same way. I hope they realize Catherine’s passion will be HARD to duplicate. I would wait 2 years, if the movie was incredible. I’d rather wait and have it great.

I agree with you guys. This article was totally scary. A rushed movie will show the lack of attention and care in the theater. Then we may not get Eclipse if New Moon does poorly. Come on Summit do it right!!!!

Amen to all that was said! I’m getting more and more nervous at the filming timetable and smallish budget 50 mil?! I feel like they are rushing so that they can “cash in”. Taking Taylor out of the picture? Why don’t they just chuck Rob and Kristen too!
Have they met the fans? If they don’t make an attempt to get the film right we won’t bring our bucks to the movie at ALL! Let alone repeatedly. Catherine was a fan I hope the new director will be also.
Does anyone know what Queen Stephenie thinks?
