What is it about Edward?

The Improper asks “What is the secret to Edward’s cross-generational pull?” The author admits to never having heard of Twilight prior to seeing the movie but it sounds like she was dazzled just like the rest of us since she wraps up the article this way “And while it has been many years since I was a teenager, I—like the millions of Twilight fans around the world—will be lining up to see all the sequels.”

As for her question about Edward’s appeal, it looks like she figured it out~

“Personally, what I liked about Twilight and Pattinson’s delicate portrayal of Edward was the return of the notion of romantic love (in the literary sense). It was such an unexpectedly sweet departure from today’s in-your-face, jaded movie romances we’ve all grown accustomed to. “

Good article and pictures! Also, it’s so fun to see that people are being converted to Twilight through the movie. :-)

Loved reading this article. The author is so perceptive about this extraordinary phenomenon and SM’s more extraordinary romantic hero–our Edward.
    Nice comments by Rob.
