Entertainment Weekley is reporting that Summit is expected to announce the casting for the role of Jacob Black in New Moon this week.
By the time you read these words, Taylor Lautner’s fate may already have been decided. He’ll either be reprising his role as Jacob Black in the almost-ready-to-shoot Twilight sequel New Moon, or he’ll be an exceedingly rare species in Hollywood: an actor fired for looking too young.

Well I just read on Stephenie’s website that they have decided to keep Taylor as Jacob. I myself am extremely dissapointed because I absolutely LOVE Jacob in the books he is strong, tall, and he looks older than he actually is. I just can’t see myself lusting after this 16 year old boy. Bella and Jacob’s conversation about their ages justifies my point because he is supposed to be the physical age of a 25 year old and I want a beautiful buff man to play Jacob not pre-teen! Sorry girls!
