MTV: My Chemical Romance passes on New Moon Soundtrack

They may appear on Stephenie’s playlists but My Chemical Romance won’t be appearing on the New Moon Soundtrack- MTV has an interview with the band where they state that they will not be participating in the soundtrack~

Wow, is he kidding me? I’ve listened to Black Parade about a hundred times (my husband is a big fan, not I) and the whole theme of the CD is Emo ill-fated romance and looming death which is exactly what New Moon is about. Silly rock star.
