It was so weird for my two fandoms to collide last night! I don’t really think that Adam sounds anything like Robert but the comparison still amused me.

I caught that too. I don’t think it was an issue of him sounding like R.P., it was more a comment on Adam having a similar star quality or “It” factor. Adam did great in coming back by saying that he loved the books and thought the movie was cool. If he wasn’t a sure thing before, he was after that. (Though he was the best guy, by far, last night anyway.)

Clearly these people haven’t read the series or seen the movie. I saw absolutely no correlation between Edward and this wanna be Pete Wentz. Give me a friggin’ break.

I thought it was more of the way he he was dressed and looked (a vampire). Randy said Robert Pattison in Twilight not Robert Pattinson the guy.

Randy was talkign about the Vibe he gives off relating it to the uber-cool vampiric vibe that Twiligh/Rob put off. Not equating Adam and Rob with one another in sound or looks but just pointing out the vibe. It was Ryan Seacrest that took Randy’s comment and said that he was like Edward Cullen who (happens to be the origin of uber-cool vampiric vibes).

I think Randy compared him to Rob because he had that intense thing going and he also had the sexy, smolder eyes and was working it.
I thought he was good but the Twilight correlation nailed it for him.

It definitely tickeled me to hear Randy compare Adam (who is one of my fav’s in this competition) to our sexy heartthrob Rob!! They both definitely have the “it” factor going on!! What a compliment!!

He isn’t anywhere near as beautiful as Edward or Robert. And I don’t really think he sings like Robert either… He is however, talented and somewhat attractive.
