Gotta say, the wig on Nikki looks pretty good! And Jackson looks hot–much better hair. “Rosalie’s” dress is MUCH more Rose to me–those trashy outfits in TW are just not what I had pictured her in. So far, so good!!

Awesome!! That was fun to see so many pictures. Although, I am quite shocked at how many of the actors smoked!!!! 5 or 6 of the actors were shown with cigarettes in a lot of the pictures. That just surpised me. I am excited though, it looks like the hair and makeup and dress is a lot better! I can’t wait to see the movie!

It’s been a long time since I saw Twilight and I remember the make-up being shockingly bad. Aside from Rosalie’s wig making her hair look much better, I didn’t see a difference in the make-up and barely recognized Pattinson. He’s really made up. And, those sunglasses are so 80′s! Someone want to tell me what they see as different? Maybe it’ll show up better on the big-screen? Refresh my memory?
I too was shocked at how many of the actors were smoking. Sad.

Wow I am super excited to see set pics! Awesome.~Jumps up and down excitedly~ I have to admit though I too was shocked at all the smoking, its such a turn off
but either way i am super happy to see pics!!!! Yay! And Taylor holy moly! WOW! and the wig looks just as good as her dyed hair, only she won’t have to worry about any of her real hair falling out. 
And the makeup looks great. I can’t wait!!!

Could have done without the pics of them smoking. How about some real set pics?They just look like people hanging around at the gas station. Although I am proud of Taylor’s effort to bulk up. Good Job!

Soooo disappointed in the smoking. I thought it was just Kristen and Nikki, but now I see Kellan, Peter and Rob! Oh guys, a little part of my heart just wilted!
Nikki looks Sooooo much better with that wig!
Taylor looks amazing and I’m comforted knowing that with the good values instilled in him by his family, with how athletic he’s been since small (football, baseball, martial arts) and how hard he worked at buffing up those 30 lbs, I don’t think he’ll ever smoke.

Thank God for Nikki’s wig! I agree with Larry (even though I think he offended her) when he said her hair with the blond streaks in it just did not look natural. The wig looks so much better because the golden blonde they picked actually matches her warm skin tone so much better than the ashy blonde they dyed it before.

I agree, I’m very disappointed with all the smoking. I think Taylor is the only one I haven’t seen smoking. Team Jacob!!

I was disappointed with all the smoking too….Come on guys, you must know that its bad for your health and prematurely ages you (says the former smoker!).
Nikki looks great in the wig and Jackson looks so much more put together!

Any idea on what they are filming. Some are dressed up and some are casual. Smoking issue aside, this gets me so excited for the movie. I’ve been trying to figure out what scenes they are working on with the Cullens and Jacob.

Yes, it BLOWS my mind how any young person could even begin smoking with all that we know now! It’s just NOT cool! I’m not juding them, I just love them so much that I want them to be around for a while! I mean, don’t we all wish them long and happy lives? Smoking is so horrible and it takes their sexy factor from a 10 to a 1!

I’m not going to get on my soapbox about the smoking because to their credit they are doing it on a closed set not a publicity outing. So they are not (at least) doing it where they can be influencing young kids.
But still I am shocked to see so many young people smoking. I mean their generation is the one where I thought it would begin to end. Oh well. I guess I’m totally out of touch!

I am so glad that the smoking bothered someone besides me. I thought I was just being a prude. Iris said it perfectly – a small piece of my heart wilted. Guess I am naive too. Maybe it is just part of Hollywood and dealing with everything. Guess they can make their own choices, but still surprising these days.
So far I do like the overall “look” but would have liked to have seen a little more than idle time.

I don’t think smoking is good but I smoked in my twenties and to me, personally, I think it makes them all seem way more normal to me for some reason. Give them a break-sheesh! If I were hunted by paparazzi like Rob I would probably take up smoking again. It doesn’t make it OK but I hate for them to be judged for it. Rob probably wants to be judged for it so that he isn’t a teen heartthrob anymore–they didn’t sign on to the movie to become role models–that role can be reserved for all the Disney stars
Admittedly, the mother in me thinks it is kind of endearing that everyone on TM is so worried about them and their health–very motherly–I just find it surprising when people judge them so harshly. There are WAY worse things they could be doing.

I love how red the hair was, much more like a flame for Victoria. Rosalie looks AWESOME. Carlisle…. you are still my favorite although the smoking makes the dream of the vivid spicy delicious scents of vampires hard to attach to the image. Jasper and Alice are perfect and Emmett cool as always. Jacob’s appeal just skyrocketed, wholly molley! He looks amazing and WAY healthier than our sexy vampires.
I agree that there are worse things than smoking, but I was shocked to see how MANY of them smoke. Its just so 80′s and 90′s. Who starts smoking nowadays? Sorry Kristen, but jeez, you are barely old enough to buy the things!

I agree, the smoking, not so good.Costumes and hair though are amazing compared to Twilight. I will be in Vancouver in a few weeks and it turns out we are staying in the same hotel as Kridten and Nikki. I was a little excited when I heard that. Does anyone know if they like signing autographs? I am new to this whole Twilight fan thing.

Well, the smoking thing has taken away about 35% of his (RP) attractiveness. Thank goodness, since it was totally inappropriate for me to find him so friggin’ attractive in the first place! I have kids his age!

I think they are only doing rehearsals right now – no filming yet. I keep reading that filming is starting on March 23. Seeing these pictures just makes we want to go there and hang out……… =)

First I just want to say I am not a mom even though I am old enough to be Rob, Kristen and Taylor’s mother–OUCH!!! However, I do like your site and you have good information regarding the actors, books and other Twilight information.
I just saw the set photos and like everyone else I am surprised to see a lot of the young actors smoke. With all the information out there they should realize how dangerous smoking can be. Granted so far, and that we know of, that none of them are doing drugs which hopefully they never will turn to. But they are human and everyone has their vice, hopefully it won’t go any further.
Taylor looks great he has been working out.
I like the wigs better on Ashley?(Rosalie) and on Jackson looks more natural. It would be great to be in Vancouver right now and visit the sets and see the actors and also the technical aspects of setting up a scene and other behind the scenes action.

Perhaps these are hair, make up, costume mock ups. I wonder if the dark haired gal in the black shirt dress is just modeling an costume for Alice.
About the smoking–some of my favorite people and family members are former smokers. But it still is a nasty habit. It isn’t judgmental to think so.

I quit smoking a year ago, and I do agree that it is a healthy choice to quit, but in my 20′s, EVERYONE SMOKED. These are young actors…it’s almost a prerequisite to smoke. I’m more shocked at how many of you didn’t realize that they all smoked. We are not in charge of their health or their choices. Let’s try to remember that!
Anyway, the pictures are great!

Well I loved the pictures. Like everyone else was really turned off about the smoking. It surprised me with Cancer so rampant.(look at the stats) that young people would not be better informed or care about it more. My dh did tell me that it didn’t surprise him about Rob because he’s British and that it’s a heavy smoking country. Would be great if for themselves they would all realize the risks. OOOH what a coup if the Cancer Society could get them to quit and become spokes people for young people.

i think smoking is more of a popular thing than a must.
but it really doesn’t matter if they do or not yes it’s a shock to people cause when you think of anyone in general the first thing you don’t think of is them smoking. but i’m betting alot of people who commented on this are smokers. so move on. it’s their choice i don’t think it’s affecting your lungs…that’s my opinion atleast
