This interview perplexes me.
Especially since I just saw news that Drew, herself, confirmed that she is being looked at to direct (which, by the way, I think is one of the silliest things I have ever heard. What?? She just isn’t “there” yet as a director. Information like this makes me really doubt that there is little to no interest in Summit’s desire to make the proceding films better than the first. They’ll continue to be C films, at best and this is disappointing as there is so much more potential).
