Our Book of the Month for April- City of Glass!

Last April Stephenie chose City of Bones by Cassandra Clare as our Book of the Month. Many of us fell in love with the world of Shadowhunters, Warlocks and Demons and quickly devoured the sequel City of Ashes. Then we started the waiting game for the third and final installment in the Mortal Instruments Trilogy, City of Glass. Well that waiting game has finally been won, our April Book of the Month, City of Glass is available today! Don’t worry- we aren’t going to make you wait until April to discuss the book. Our discussion forums will be open soon (give us a couple of days to get the book read). Cassandra Clare has promised to stop by again to answer questions (YAY!) The forum will be full of spoilers so do not venture in there if you haven’t finished reading.

I have read both of the first 2 books 2 times and the 3rd is due this week from Barnes and Noble, this series is wonderful, I absolutely love it!!

Oh boy, I’m sooooo excited!!! I’ve been waiting very impatiently for the 3rd book, aahhhh!!! I’ll be picking up my copy in a few short hours! Wow, that is so awesome it’s the book of the month:)

I read this last night and LOVED it!! Cassandra is so gracious with her time. Make sure you guys get involved w/ the discussions this next month and go meet her in person (if can) on her CoG book tour.
It’s such a great series and CoG will not disappoint.

I read it over the last couple days and absolutley loved it!! IT couldnt of ended better for me!! What a great series!

Are any of the “book of the month” selections full of romance like that Twilight is? I am new here and was searching for something to read that will have the romance in it that stole my heart like Edward and Bella’s did. I think that is what I loved so much about it and would love to find something similar. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hunger Games and the Mortal Instruments series City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass all have romantic story lines intertwinded into the books. I adore all of these books, but you should also read The Host by Stephenie Meyer, really great book and a really beautiful love story.

It was the Perfect Way to end a series. A runaway train ride, full of dizzying peaks, holding-my-breath valleys and two moments where tears streamed down my face because I was so very touched.

I just finished the last book–could NOT put it down. What an exciting new world and a touching love story!!
