Peter Facinelli at Fort Lewis Twilight DVD Release

If Peter Facinelli’s good looks, devotion to his family and portrayal of Carlisle haven’t given you enough reasons to love him, I’ve found one more…. The TwiCrack Addict has a report about where Peter was this weekend. He was in Fort Lewis, Washington at the Army Installation hanging out with the soldiers.
A fan that was there, Becky, reports …
Peter canceled his flight tonight due to the overwhelming amount of fans that were in attendance; he refused to leave until all fans were able to have their DVDs signed.
Peter said he was given a choice of coming to a DVD signing in Chicago or Fort Lewis and he chose Fort Lewis as he wanted to thank soldiers and families for their service. I witnessed Peter thank and shake every soldiers hand that came thru the line. I commend Peter for his time.

On a personal note – I want to say thank you to Peter for being so amazing… this Army brat thanks you for recognizing and appreciating our soliders, their families and their sacrifices!!!

Amy, thanks for posting. As an active duty Army wife, I too appreciate what he did last night! I have friends in Ft. Lewis and I’ll have to touch base w/them to get more inside scoop!

Wow, what a wonderful man and what a wonderful gesture on his part!
Peter and the rest of the Twilight cast for the most part could teach Hollywood a lot about true fan appreciation, selflessness and genuine class. I’m so proud of all of them. No wonder they are so beloved all over the world!
I hope they always stay as down to earth and extraordinary as they are.

When Peter came to AAFES HQ (Army and Air Force Exchange Service – your BX/PX) to talk to us about Twilight, you could tell he was a class act.

Wow!! That is great!!! My mother side of our family all serve in the military one way or another and I glad for the support Peter has shown. I so glad that the cast members are willing to please all the fans. Between Peter staying and Rachelle staying for all the fans I can not give them enough praise for their hard works and generosity.

That was very gracious of Peter to stay late and sign as many autographs as he could at the DVD release. That is standard that the other Twilight stars should reach.

He is the nicest person I’ve ever met. We were one of the last people in line and he left the PX at around 1am. I can’t believe he stayed that long. I am still gushing to everyone I know how nice he is.
