Billy Burke will return as Charlie

Summit’s press release earlier today did not mention that Billy Burke would be returning as Charlie in New Moon. This caused a slight panic for those of us that adored Billy’s performance as Charlie. Larry Carroll is reaffirming his “Made of Awesome” title by finding an answer for us-
An inside source has confirmed to MTV that the veteran actor is indeed in the “New Moon” cast, and will be returning as Bella’s father. Despite Billy Burke’s omission from the press release, Kristen Stewart’s family will look exactly the same when they hit theaters everywhere on November 20th.

Whew, He soooo own that role. It would be a crime (ha ha) for him not to play this part again.

I loved him in Twilight. I thought he was one of the best actors in the movie. So happy to hear he’s staying!

Phew! I totally think that he was so funny and really quirky! Definitely WAS Charlie and totally irreplaceable!

Phew! I very glad to hear this! I couldn’t imagine a different Charlie. I thought Billy Burke was wonderful as Charlie. I’ve been wondering why he wasn’t mentioned in Summit’s press release. Good to know he’s staying!

No one could possibly portray Charlie Swan better than Billy Burke!!
