Breaking Dawn wins Galaxy British Book Award

Posted on 05. Apr, 2009 by in Stephenie Meyer

Breaking Dawn has been awarded the Galaxy British Book Award for WHSmith Children’s Book of the Year.   With so much focus on the movies it’s wonderful to see the books receive some well deserved recognition (even if we think it’s more than a children’s book ;) )

Congratulations Stephenie!!!!

Yeah, i was actually watching this last night just to see if the TW books would get a mention. I went out of the room for 2 mins only to hear my son shout “Mum your BD book won” when i asked him in what catagory he said childrens book!!! I couln’t belive it. My son sat there grinning from ear to ear because he now thinks he mum is reading childrens book – ugh. I glad the book won but come on childrens catagory! have these people even read BD – not really stuff for young children. But anyway congrats steph
