EW.com is reporting that Catherine Hardwicke’s Twilight: Director’s Notebook will be at the top of the New York Times Bestseller list this Sunday. They also have a letter from Catherine to us-
Dear Twilight fans,
I wanted to send out a note of thanks to all of you. I recently found out that my book, Twilight: Director’s Notebook, will debut at #1 on this Sunday’s New York Times bestseller list. I am stunned. Throughout this entire process, from pre-production on the film, to the premieres, to my book events, I have always been overwhelmed by the support the Twilight fans have had for me, the movie and now my book. I wanted to
give the fans, as well as aspiring filmmakers, a closer look at how we made the movie and I hope you enjoyed entering my world of making films as much as I have had in being part of the Twilight world.Catherine

I don’t know if you ever read this site or not but I just wanted to congratulate you on your book and it’s #1 status in NY Times as of this Sunday. This is a well deserved honor for you. I loved the book so much that I read it in about an hour!
Also a million thanks for giving us such an unforgettable, beautiful and destined to be a classic movie in “Twilight”!

P.S. – I am also a big fan of your movie “The Nativity Story”. I watched it this past Christmas Eve and was happily surprised at the end to find that you directed it. It is an absolutely beautiful and touching movie. You obviously put so much soul and emotion into your work and it certainly shows. Bravo!!!

I just like to say a big thanx to you. If it wasn’t for you Rob and all the cast of twilight wouldn’t be here doing the sequels. I love the movie. You did a wonderful film.

Congrats Catherine! I bought the Director’s Notebook and I love it. It gives a great perspective on how Twilight was made.

i love twilight the movie and all 4 books i got the dvd on the day it came waited for 6 and a half hours isat outside in the snow it sucked but it was worth it i watced it like 50 or 60 times i watced it more then twice a day i love lt i love all the characters there so amazing did you help pick the characters i absoulutley i love the movive i cant what until neewmoon comes it
