Edward Cullen or Robert Pattinson?
Posted on 06. Apr, 2009 by AmyO in News
In an interview with Teen Vogue Miley Cyrus made the following statement-
“I’m not a huge Rob Pattinson fan. Girls aren’t really in love with Rob; they’re in love with Edward.”
I’m not posting this so that we can have a Miley bash-fest… her comment has brought up a valid question. Are you a fan of Edward, Robert or both? This is a topic that can be very polarizing. Even among the TwilightMOMS admin team we have very varying opinions. I’ll be brave and go out on a limb and say that I’m not a huge RPattz fan (ducks flying tomatoes) BUT I think he did a fabulous job as Edward. Where do you stand on the Edward vs. Robert argument? Let us know!!
(please, please, please be respectful of others opinions!)

I purchased the book the day I got a pre-released version of the movie twilight, and made myself read the book before I watched the film. That night I watched the movie 3 times back to back. Sad 4 a 28 year old married mother of 3 to admit? Not to me I am proud to admit it. I loved Rob as Edward. He breathed life into Edward the fictional character, literally just brought him to life. I can’t imagine anyone better to play Edward. All that said Rob in his interviews is a very different character, but one I can’t help but Love. He just exudes honesty, playfulness, shyness and just seems to be completely human. Faults.and all! I am proud to love edward as a character and really enjoy robert as an actor!

I didn’t know who Rob was until I saw him as Edward. He did a phenomenal job as the Edward I always pictured in my head when reading the book. Because of Edward I became more interested in Rob. Rob is funny, artistic, and seems to be a genuinely nice person. That is so refreshing to see of a huge celebrity. I know he’s only human and he’s still very young, in age and in his craft, but I think he’s great and I will definitely be following his career and supporting his art. Team Edward and Team Robert all the way!!

I love Robert and Edward. It would be hard to love one and not the other because weither Robert is Robert or Robert is Edward, you can tell that the romance and love that he portrays is real. It’s not just for the movie. I think that Twilight made Robert sexy, but still Robert made himself a sweetheart.

I couldn’t have said it better myself. When watching Rob’s interviews he seems so different than Edward. That just goes to show what a great actor Rob really is. There is no one else that could have made Edward more perfect. I do not like to read, at all. I watched Twilight on a Saturday, and bought the book on Sunday and spent the entire day Monday reading it. Did I say that I don’t like read? I felt almost obsessed with the characters and I think Rob/Edward had a lot do with that. I love them both!

I think Robert is doing an amazing job as Edward. He has the same intense eyes and old soul as Edward. I admire him for being able to do Edward justice.
That being said he physically doesn’t do anything for me.
I’m more of a Taylor/Jacob gal my self.

I love Edward. He’s everything I wish my husband would at least try to be, and everything the normal teenage girl couldn’t appreciate fully. I am 36 and I am fully obssessed. I have been married for 11 almost 12 years and I can honestly say for the first time that if somehow Edward Cullen came to life and showed up at my door, I would totally be like “Husband? Who?” Rob, I love for totally different reasons. Behind the greasy mop, the look of maybe missing the deodorant for a day or two, he is one of the most humble, quirky and adorable actors today. He seems completelt unaware of why he has all these females going crazy for him. To me, that makes him that much freakin’ hotter. I view them as two totally separate entities. Rob doesn’t look like Edward to me, Edward doesn’t look like Rob. Kudo’s to the hair and make-up team for the job they did on Twilight. They took adorable Rob and Made him Perfect Edward. Just my H.O..

Rob and Edward are two totally separate entities for me. I am a huge fan of both.
I will admit, though, my initial attraction towards Rob began with my like of Edward. However, that’s not to say that I confuse fictional Edward and real-life Rob at all. The waters are not muddied.
I like Edward not because he’s gorgeous or perfect, but because he loves Bella unconditionally, no matter what. Sadly, I don’t think that’s very common in the world today.
I could list many more reasons why I like Rob. He’s intelligent and real and talented. He’s famous but not affected by fame. I won’t sit here and pretend that I know Rob because that would be ridiculous. But, because of Rob’s candid interviews and his willingness to be truthful in interviews, I feel like I know him. And, from what I know, Rob is definitely someone I would be friends with. Obviously Rob is attractive but that only adds to his appeal. He’s real in a world (Hollywood) that’s so incredibly fake. That alone is priceless.
As for Miley, don’t even get me started. She is probably #1 on my celebrity hate list, even before she made this comment. She’s a teenager but she feels the need to criticize and make comments like she has lived three lifetimes already. She should keep her mouth shut until she grows up.

I am a fan of both Robert and Edward. Edward, of course, is Edward and you have to love him as a wonderful literary character (and wish he was real). Robert, when he was first chosen for the part, I wasn’t sure about. I liked him in HP, but didn’t know that much about him. I was willing to give him a chance though, and the first interview I saw him in, I instantly fell in love with him and love him more each time I see him. He is just so funny and endearing! He is so self-depreciating I just want to hug him and tell him how great he is.

I am a fan of both! I of course love Edward for all that he is in the story. Nothing that we can get in real life unfortunately! I am also a fan of Robert. I find him very interesting! I find myself drawn to him and watching as many interviews as I can. I love his honesty and I can relate with his self doubt. I hope he never doubt that he is one of the best parts of this book come to life. I couldn’t havwe pictures a more perfect Edward for the movies. I can’t get enough of anything to do with Twilight…books, movies, interviews, pics, Robert……..

For me Edward is Robert Pattinson. He brought the character od Edward to life for me and added even more depth to the character than I have seen in the books. I have read the entire series probably 6 times now and am looking forward to seeing how the rest of the sage will be brought to the screen. Rob Pattinson is a very talented actor and musician. He is not afraid to take on challenging roles and I think that his talents will develop even more as he matures. I loved his protrayal of Cedric Diggory and am looking forward to seeing him in Little Ashes and How To Be. I am amazed that he is handling all this media hype as well as he is. I don’t know how anyone could possibly function when their every move is on public display. I don’t understand the current need that some people have to say the hurtful things that have been said about him. I would imagine that the bulk of it is because they are jealous of his talents or that they just want to be noticed themself. I wish him success in the future and I am certain that he will continue to be to dazzle us as the talented artist that he is.

I respect RPattz as an actor. I liked him as Cedric Diggory and for me is the true embodiment of Edward. I think he’s very talented and will go far. That said, he’s a bit of a loose cannon personally. Some of the vulgar things he’s said during interviews have been a turn off but I like how he’s quirky and not totally stuck on himself.

I love both of them.. they both have 2 different personalities.. Edward is.. well Edward.. we all know that. But Rob.. I fell in love with him after I watched the first interview. He was so quirky.. so different.. so enduring.. he left me breathless.

I have to admit i wasent sure about RP as Edward at first. However, once i saw the movie, I knew there was no one else for that part! he did a great job bringing Edward to life the way i imagined him. Do I follow RPs career outside of Twilight? No, not really, but i cant wait to see moe of him as Edward!

Sounds like many see the guys as I do- separate personas. We all love Edward, who wouldn’t. And I’m fortunate enough to be married to my own occasionally brooding Edward-like man (after 9 years, sometimes I’m still, like, swoon) Anyway. I like Robert Pattinson for completely other reasons. His funny, humble, even self-conscience. I think Kristen is good for him: she keeps him humble (she picked him because he seemed the most imperfect vs. “I’ll be able to play the perfect vampire” blah blah) yet she encourages him. Yet he’s physically not how I pictured Edward and doesn’t really do anything for me that way. Yet he does a great job capturing Edward’s spirit and is a very good actor. Jacob, on the other hand, is adorable (is it wrong to LOVE Edward AND Jacob?)

I am not going to say anything bad about Miley but does she know Robert? And how does she know how we fans feel? I like both the character Edward and Robert the person. He is great to the fans and is taking all this craziness with class. I don’t think the comment was appropriate and I do not like people speaking out like they know me and how I feel. Sorry if I offend anyone just my thoughts:)

I like them both. Edward and Rob. I do not know Rob personally, only what I ‘ve seen on his interviews and from what others around him say, but I separate Edward from Rob. I know that he brought Edward to us through his wonderful talent and I am truly grateful for it. And I say to all those critics out there of Rob is to look in your own backyard instead of looking into someone else’s. I could not imagine what it is like to have everyone peering at me through my window watching my every move and then reporting what I was doing and so forth. I know it must be hard.

I’m a fan of both. Just like Michelle said we all love Edward’s character, it’s easy to fall in love with him. Rob brought us Edward’s character to life and I don’t think any other actor would fit the description or do a better job. Rob is such a cutie, he’s very down to earth and he’s not full of himself. I like the fact that he’s so humble when it comes to his fans. I catch my breath every time I see his picture or see him on interviews. He’s a great actor and I think he will only get better as he gets older.

I am all Edward!!! I actually pictured him almost like Robert P. but of course impossibly perfect!!! I haven’t really seen Robert P. in anything else – I mean Harry Potter, but that wasn’t a big role and I don’t think I was paying all that much attention – lol But since we are being honest – Rob P., well I wouldn’t throw him out if he was at my house, but for now its all Edward Cullen – my VampMan

Let me just add one more thing, well two more….
First, from what I have seen of Rob in interviews – I have friends (they are just the grown up versions) of him, musicians, laid back, silly people. So like I mentioned in the first comment, I wouldn’t throw him out of my house. As for Miley , I think voicing opinions of people she probably doesn’t know is not a ‘smart’ or ‘grown up’ like thing to do… but what do I know!!

oh…shut up Miley! you’re just jealous.
I’m a fan of both and yes they are two different people. I love Rob breathing life into this perfect Edward-caring, loving, enduring, passionate and intense character. Rob is talented in every way. He’s an actor, an awesome musician and his looks….

Unfortunately I know Twilight only in German with a really bad dubbing. But I think Rob did a good job.
I like the brooding loving (book-)Edward as well as the witty (real-)Robert with his sexy accent. Both are cuties – even for a non-teenie like me.

I have followed Rob since Harry Potter. I think he is just adorable. I do truly believe that him playing Edward has made my fantasies have gotten even more vivid and frequent. I would never have fallen for a guy like Edward but now that I am in my low 30′s, it just makes it that much more of a delight. I am looking forward to the next 3 movies and whatever else Rob decides to play in.

Both! Of course we all love Edward in the story. What woman wouldn’t? But I also think Rob did a really good job playing Edward. They picked the right person for the part. I read all the books after I saw Twilight the first time and it was great to have that face in mind while reading. He just matches perfectly! I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I agree that Edward and Rob are totally different, but I still say both. I think Rob is someone I could get along with and hang out with. I’m 22 so It wouldn’t be hard to find common interests.

I love Edward, but I’m not so sure about Rob. I agree with Miley – I’m not a huge fan of Rob. I probably could be if he is a good actor, but I’ll just have to see his other work to make that determination. I’ve only seen him in Harry Potter & a few interviews with Rob and its hard to judge by short snips.
I wasn’t thrilled with his comments on the Twilight dvd, he spent too much time picking at his performance and how he looked and not enough time giving us insight into his performance or thoughts about how he thought Edward would think or act. I would like to hear him take his role more seriously and pass that on to us.

I love Edward, not Rob… but I am truly grateful to Rob for working with Stephenie and the entire film team to create the Edward we see on camera. Edward as we see him couldn’t exist without Rob!

Edward is the perfect male fictional character (so sad he’s not real…sigh) so it’s impossible not to love him (and be quite obsessed about it!!
. Rob’s portrayal of Edward was exactly as I imagined him in reading the book. Rob, on the other hand is talented, adorable, endearing, funny, and sweet. I guess you could say I loooove Edward, but I also like Rob very much and will definitely follow his career

I read the book Twilight first and fell in love with the character of Edward Cullen. I then saw the movie and actually believed that Robert Pattinson was Edward. I really haven’t seen any of RP’s other work, but I am becoming a fan of his music since having heard the soundtrack. I do think RP has a promising future in acting. I like that he chooses rather different roles (Little Ashes). While I would like to believe that an Edward Cullen really does exist, RP is just an actor. He’s not Edward Cullen.

I ofcourse love Edward, I mean who wouldn’t, but the more I see interviews with Robert Pattinson, I just love his personality. He is so down to earth and I really hope that he doesn’t let all of the hype around him change that. I also love his accent and could literally listen to him talk all day. Mostly, I love his singing voice. I didn’t even know that was him on the soundtrack and loved the songs before I found out. I hope he will record some music eventually. I have to say I am a Rob fan, even over Edward!

I love Edward the character and I love Rob the shy star. I think he did a perfect portrayl of Edward Cullen. I can’t get enough of him! Sigh…I also think he is an amazing musician. I will be following him as he matures into a self-assured actor. At this point of his career I think he is not sure how to handle the lime light. That will come in time. He needs a little more self-confidence and he’ll soar!

My friend kept telling me, I am in love with Edward and of course I said, Who is Edward? She handed me her copy of Twilight and I read it in 2 days. I called her and told her I was in love with Edward.
I went out to see the movie as soon as I was done with the series because I wanted to put a face with the character. In my mind Edward looked differentm, but Robert and Edward possessed the same qualities.
I think Robert did an amazing job and I look forward to seeing him in future projects. I thinki he comes off strange in interviews because he is young, unsure of how to handle all the craziness with he new found fame. I have no doubt he will have a successful career.
As for Miley…come on…where will her career go once she hits her 20′s? She shouldn’t talk

Does it make a difference when you read the Twilight book for the first time in relation to the Twilight movie release?
I read Twilight for the first time in January and went to see the movie in the theater the next day. Since the movie was already in theaters, I had a vague idea of what the actor playing Edward looked like when I read the book for the first time. Believe me I had no problem transferring my affections from Edward to Robert. Yes, it’s the character of Edward that I love. However, Robert Pattinson as an actor is very appealing too. Perhaps it’s the whole humble, intellectual, British, talented, musical, gorgeous, excellent hair, very-good-kisser persona he’s got going on, but yes, he is very much my type!
Lindsey

I love both Edward and Robert. There is no one else that could play Edward. Rob was great in HP and in Vanity Fair as well and I’m hoping to see him in Little Ashes. He’s very talented, extremely handsome, and I love love LOVE his accent… (okay, so I might be a little partial being a British-American) swoon…. I love his honesty and how genuine he is. And his hair is awesome!!!
I bought the movie last Saturday and just finished watching it for the 11th (gasp) time. My hubby just shakes his head and leaves the room… :] Can’t get enough of Rob!!

I think Rob did an amazing job as Edward. The way he prepared for the role was spot on. He also did an excellent job in Harry Potter and I look forward to seeing his performance in LIttle Ashes and How to Be. He is a genuine, versatile actor. A musical genius, great composer, an intellectual, he doesn’t take himself or his fame too seriously and I love his humor and British swagger.
I think every woman deserves their Edward. That old-fashioned, chivalrous charm. The defender and protector. An intense love and attraction.
So yes, I love both Edward and Rob. They dazzle me equally.

I saw the movie before reading the books. I am still extremely new to the whole Twilight fan scene *and a bit overwhelmed by the fan base* -as I saw the movie for the first time only 2 weeks ago, and then read all four books within those next 4 days. (I’m an uber fast reader).
When watching the movie I didn’t have an appeal towards Robert Pattinson at first.. He’s appeal came after I saw the movie and thought to myself “Wow, I absolutely love the song at the end where Edward saves Bella from changing.. I wonder who sings that??!? I’ve got to see if it’s on the soundtrack”. Needless to say, It was Rob Pattinson. Then I was floored- This man has such a musical talent. I became a fan of his through his voice and his ever-impressive musical talents. He’s a great actor too, but I didn’t really know him before this movie. It was really his musical abilities that floored me.
Of course we all like the character Edward for the selfless, brooding, emotional, passionate, devoted creature he is. Who wouldn’t love that? I think it’s every woman’s fantasy. But alas- We all know *or else, I’d like to try to think people can differentiate this* that he is just a character in a book/movie, albeit a loveable one.

I am a 35 year old-mother of 2 kids(a 14 yr old daughter and a 17 yr old son) and after watching the Twilight movie, I was HOOKED on Edward! But then after seeing the Twilight movie 20 times…I have the ticket stubs to prove it, I needed to know everything about the actor, Robert Pattinson! I remembered seeing him in Harry Potter and thought that he was hot(my Mrs. Robinson side is showing)! So after getting some of his movies: Dark Kingdom, The Bad Mother’s Handbook, and Vanity Fair, I thought: WOW he is good! I TOTALLY AGREE WITH ANNE-his talent brought out Edward’s character and Robert is not afraid to take on challenging roles and that his talents will develop even more as he matures. I am waiting for The Haunted Airman and How To Be to see how he is in that. Ivan XTC DVD that he recommended is an awesome movie. I am counting the days when Little Ashes is released. I am looking forward to getting the How To Be CD because he is such a gifted musician. I know he said he doesn’t want to profit from his music….I am hoping he would have a website that has his music playing in the background. I am looking forward to reading the Ticket to Ride book.
I see interviews that Robert has done and he is just has a great personallity! Whenever he laughs or I see picture of him laughing, it make me smile-he has such an infectious laugh/smile! I now undertstand what Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed had said during an interview on how the female fans don’t see that Robert is smart and talented but only see his hair and looks.
I would love to spend an evening with Robert and see why that fan he invited to dinner in Spain said he was boring.

It was very unfortunate that Rob was not given a bigger role than Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter series considering what an outstanding job he has done with the character of Edward. He is a very talented actor and I hope his star continues to burn brightly for a long time to come. He isn’t hard to look at though either

We don’t know Rob. We only know our Edward -thanks to the brilliance that is Stephenie Meyer. Rob portrays Edward wonderfully, but lets face it girls we were already in love with Edward, so we would’ve gravitated towards any of the actors Hollywood would’ve chosen. Rob is a seemingly shy man, attractive, British, and thats about all I know of his personal character . For all we know he could be a complete ass (though I’m sure he’s not-and Rob if you’re reading this-I was just giving an example). Edward on the hand is our wishful fantasy reborn everytime we turn the pages of the Twilight books.

In the beginining I was die hard Edward, only having read the books. Now that I have watched the movie, everyday since it came out on DVD, I am absolutely floored by Rob. He brought Edward to life in a way I didn’t think anyone would be able to do. Edward is such a complicated character to play, and Rob seems to pull it off without any trouble at all. Besides loving the movie, I have recently discoverd Rob as a musician, and I AM IN LOVE. Seriously, his music touches me in a way NOTHING ever has. I have never actually NEEDED to hear something so badly in all my life. I am not a huge fan of Never Think, it fits perfectly in the scene, but Stray Dog & Rob’s version of Van Morrison’s I’ll be Your Lover, Too just take my breath away…..He also did a fantastic performace of I Was Broken by Marcus Foster that blew me away. I hope to someday see him perform live and hopefully thank him for changing my life with his voice. XOXO

i totally love Rob in the movie!!! i still have not read the book, but my friends and kids tell me that Edward is more romantic in the book apposed to the movie, Rob is a very artistic person and he made Edward shine all the way through for me i really want to read the book now!!!!!!!!

Love both!
Just hope ‘Hollywood’ doesn’t turn Rob into a pompous a– like it has so many other young stars. He seems humble and that makes him (Rob) even more attractive to me.
Like others have said, Edward, the character, is the man most all of us wish we had in our lives.
If only Stephanie would create all four books from Edward’s perspective!

I watched the movie on Mar. 20th & again the next day probably 5 times (blushing big time). I had not read the books yet, so I started Saturday night & finished book 4 & the 12 chpts on Stephenie’s site of Midnight Sun by Friday, less then a week, I could not stop! I am addicted!!! I think its Edward & Rob for me, both are very interesting & lovable to say the very least! I loved Let me sign & never think, before I knew it was Rob singing & My word, that added more to my needs, I need more of his music!!! I went to searching & found a few out there, but I need more:) I have 3 daughters, one has read them all, one is fixing to be on the 3rd book & I have been reading aloud to my youngest, we are on book 3, They love them:) I hope I can break out of this addiction without seeking professional help:( I probably will start reading them to my Husband when I finish reading to my child if he wants it or not:)

Hi! I’m new here and just want to say thanks for creating this site. Its nice to know that I’m not the only Mom who is a HUGE fan of Twilight! I’m a 35 yr old mom of 2 who is completely obsessed with not only Twilight but Edward Cullen AND Robert Pattinson (and all the Cullens for that matter!). So, with that sad….I didn’t know who Rob was before Twilight, and I was instantly in love with Edward! However, I wanted to learn more about the person that played Edward and I was a little taken back at first (age, accent, etc.) BUT that didn’t stop me from falling for Rob as well. First of all……what a wonderful actor. Based on what I see of his personality from interviews, etc. he did a fantastic job as Edward and I have grown to love him just as much. NOT TO MENTION that he is unbelievably gorgeous……….AND, that hair!!! What I wouldn’t give to run my (grab!) my fingers thru that hair! lol So…..I guess I’m for both! Thanks again girls for creating this site!

I must admit i wasnt even aware of twilight this time last year let alone there were four books. In march, my cousin let me borrow her movie for the night wow that was something else.
I am an avid reader, if I am compelled by the story i’m not going to put the book down. So when I watched this movie, I couldnt help but wonder, there had to be more and boy was I surprised at how much more. I love the cast and crew of the movie but the book(s) were so much betterl.
I bought my first twilight book last week and as of today finished the last one and now I wonder if I will be able to look at life without thinking a sudden brush of cold air isn’t my edward just waiting for me,
I am a mother to a 2 year old little girl and I know that these books will be in her hands as soon as I can get them to her, so all in all LOVED Twilight!!!!
Also i’m not sure if it’s alright for me to say I was somewhat swooning over RPattz……at first I thought it was Edward Cullen(who wouldnt swoon) but I remember seeing him in many articles and how he holds himself and yes is human and isnt afraid of tinsel town so much that he doesnt really hold anything back!
Kudos to this website……and everyone else out there that introduced me to TWILIGHT!

I have nothing against Miley at all but should she really be speaking about someone she doesn’t even know? Or how others perceive that person? I realize that Rob is a real person and that Edward is a character but I still love them both. I read Twilight before seeing the movie and I think the book is a thousand times better. I have read the entire series (plus Midnight Sun) at least 20 times and continue to do so. With that being said, I loved the movie and I think Rob did an awesome job of bringing Edward to life. I think he portrayed Edward’s inner turmoil perfectly. Of course, I’m not blind and Rob is so undeniablely hot but from what I’ve seen, read, and heard, he’s seems like a very shy, genuine, and humble person and to me, that is even more attractive. I love the fact that he is also a very talented musician and though he may not be the best vocalist, when he sings he brings a certain passion and feeling to the songs which really touch me. Being an almost 36 year old wife and mother, my husband and son think I have gone absolutely insane about the whole Twilight “thing”. Despite their qualms, after they watched the movie, they both liked it a lot too. I was not really interested in any of the Harry Potter movies until I heard that Rob was in some of them, then I HAD to see them! I’m really looking forward to seeing his next films (and past ones too) because I think it will be really interesting to see him in different roles. I will always love him as Edward but I think Rob has a lot to offer and will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future. So as for Miley (and anyone else), for future reference, not everyone sees a person as the character they play. That’s why it’s called “acting”.

I like both Rob and Edward. Not knowing anything about Rob Pattinson before the movie, I loved the character of Edward for the reasons that many of you have expressed- he is devoted to Bella and cares for her above himself. He also made me see and appreciate the “Edward” in my own husband.
After the movie, I watched some of Rob’s interviews and found him to be adorable. It is refreshing to see an actor who is not self-centered- who is realistic, honest, intelligent, musical, and funny as hell. I hope he maintains his humility. He seems to know that fame can go as quickly as it came. Actually, I think I like Rob more because he is real, not a fictional character. I am looking forward to his future work.

OK, they are two totally seperate beings and it is completely possible to love them both. I love the uniqueness of Rob, he is a very, very talented actor. I love Rob when he looks all Edwardy. I love Edward’s personality and he dedication to Bella. So can I actually draw a line and choose one over the other.? No.

I had never heard of Robert Pattinson before watching Twilight. I was immediately attracted to Edward because of Rob’s acting. He made Edward unique. I cannot imagine another young actor who could have played this part as well. Because he was so great, I started researching Robert Pattinson, himself. Watching online videos, interviews, etc. I really like him. He’s young and fresh and really hot in my opinion. I just hope playing Edward in this hugely popular franchise won’t hurt his chances for getting some really great parts.

I am an Edward fan. I read all 4 books before watching the movie. I had a very different Edward pictured in my head and was disappointed in the casting. I’m not saying Robert Pattinson is not nice to look at, but Edward was much more in my head. The only “vampire” from the movie that I really loved the casting of, was Jasper. His facial expressions said it all. I found myself laughing out loud at his expressions.

Well after all the girl is not that stupid…I think Pattinson is a really boring guy and ugly as hell. He has a fish-like face.
