Those Twilighters that have been on-line since before Robert Pattinson was cast as Edward will remember that Henry Cavill was Stephenie Meyer’s original pick for the role. Henry discusses Twilight and the role of Edward with MTV-
Ultimately, Cavill suspected, the three years between Pattinson and himself were the main obstacle that kept him from becoming Edward. “By the time the movie came around, I didn’t look right for the character,” he explained, adding: “No one even called me or my agent.”

Please don’t hate me for saying this, but I think he still would have been a better pick for Edward over Rob. He still looks young and handsome to me.

I absolutely adore Robert Pattinson, but I think Henry would have been an amazing Edward. I just watched a clip from the Tudors and he is absolutely stunning and an amazing actor.
Like i said, I love Rob so much…but now..I can visualize Henry as Edward
