Is Montepulciano ready for New Moon?

A film student has a story up on her blog about running into the people doing casting in Montepulciano, Italy, for extras in New Moon.

It appears that she is doing some checking around in town this weekend, so hopefully she’ll have more info to post soon.

So tomorrow is checking out this location, and climbing the clock tower (yes, the one that Kristen Stewart will run towards in order to stop Edward from stepping into the sun.

It’s just gorgeous here. Yes, I can see the Twilight elements happening here, but it’s just a stunning piece of geography and history as well.
