MTV: Emily Browning addresses Twilight rumors

Before the cast of Twilight was announced  a lot of us pictured Emily Browning as Bella, kind of like Henry Cavill was the face of Edward for many of us, including Stephenie Meyer. 

Now that Kristen Stewart is playing Bella it’s difficult to see anyone else in that role but apparently people are still talking to Emily Browning about the role of Bella. 

MTV talked to Emily about Twilight and gave her the chance to set the record straight-

Browning is eager to finally tell her side of the “Twilight” tale. “Maybe I should set it straight a little bit, because there are so many rumors flying around,” she said. “People are coming up to me and saying, ‘Oh, my God. You turned ['Twilight'] down?’ and all this horrible stuff!

“What actually happened is that I was asked to audition — not take the part, but to just audition — shortly after ‘The Uninvited’ had finished filming,” the actress said. “And I’m not the type of person who can just work back-to-back. So I was just exhausted, and I was like, ‘I’m sorry, but I just can’t sign on to a trilogy right now.’ “

    WAIT – a TRILOGY??? This is a four movie series – I cannot have trilogy vibes set around my alternate universe – I just can’t~~~

    No, no no no no nononoonononono! Kristen Stewart was EXACTLY what I had pictured, as was Rob! The casting staff did GREAT casting these two!

    I dunno. I can’t quite picture her as Bella, those amazing cheekbones she has just don’t fit with my image of the average girl. LOL
