MTV: Is Robert Pattinson the next Leo?

MTV’s Nicole Guanlao makes a very interesting comparison between Robert Pattinson and Leonardo DiCaprio’s career paths.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Pattinson’s hotness levels on a scale of 1-10 are pretty even at about 15.2. I’m not a big fan of hotness comparisons, especially when dealing with these two actors, but RPattz’s transition on the big screen from swoon-worthy vampire with the perfectly messy hair to a haughty painter with a curlicue mustache in “Little Ashes” reminded me of Leo’s first post-Titanic career move.

it’s an interesting comparison. however rob filed Little Ashes BEFORE he filmed Twilight. So the comparison is apples to oranges.
Rob is a versatile person..even though he can’t “sparkle” all of the time – sigh – he is still dazzling. I truly appreciate his versatility and risk taking in acting and music.

Crystal, I was just about to make a comment about his filming LIttle Ashes before Twilight. I find Rob to have a depth and talent that is comparable to Leonardo Di Caprio’s and can’t wait to see where his career goes
