Robert Pattinson to Star in Remember Me

Summit has recently announced plans for a new film entitled Remember Me. Pattinson has confirmed over on MTV that he will be the lead in the film.
According to MTV sources – “Pattinson will play the lead role in “Remember Me,” a story of a young couple whose burgeoning relationship is complicated by a succession of family tragedies that test their bond, according to ScreenDaily.com. The makers of the film, which had previously been titled “Memoirs,” have not yet settled on which actress who will play Pattinson’s love interest.”
Pattinson will head to New York to shoot the film in between the shootings of New Moon and Eclipse.

They were doing a casting call for this the other day on Talenthunter. It said it was for the lead female role, and had to send your headshot and resume into a casting agency. The movie was still under “Memoirs” then.

I thought I had read somewhere that Amanda Seyfried was going to play opposite Robert – guess that was just rumor.
