It was a great and wonderful opportunity to participate in the Twilight Research Project. I trully enjoyed the questions. While answering the question, some were very challenging. I could not help but smile with joy, be sad, and get angry at memories of what brought my husband and I to celebrate 21 years together.

I just sent an e-mail to get an access the code for my teen daughter to take the survey-just like me, my daughter is a HUGE Twilight fan. I am looking forward to get her reaction on the survey.

I just finished the survey also. And I also chose Alice and Jasper. Regarding their relationship – Alice is so peaceful in the relationship (not sure if that is the right word), and is patient with Jasper. Together they risk everything including their own lives to save the lives of all the ones they love, and they do it together.
I liked the intensity of Rose and Emmett, and that appeals to my more animal nature , but Alice and Jasper won out for overall.

I took it a few days ago and it was fun. I too prefer Alice and Jaspers relationship. But I hadn’t relaized that until I had to answer direct questions. My kids enjoyed it too.

Oh my God. I just found this site! There are other Edward crazed moms in the world. I’m late to these Twilight books. I feel like I’ve become obsessed. I’ll participate in this survey. In my googling I found a very good article about “Mothers in Love with Edward Cullen” by a writer named Melissa Stanton. Her piece is on momscape.com and at her own blog reallifesupportformoms.blogspot.com.

I was happy to do the survey. I hope we get to see the stats on TMs once the survey is complete.
I was reading some of the previous comments and discovered that they too chose the relationship that Jasper and Alice have .
I had never thought of what kind of relationship I would wnat before. When my husband read the series he saw himself as a cross between Jasper and Edward. I think he’s right.

Leave PLENTY of time to do it. I was rushed when I took it (my son had a dentist appt.) Now I wish I could go back an re-do a couple of my responses.

I have to agree with Jujita I think my relationship with my husband is similar to Jacob/Bella. Although he treats me with respect and protection of Edward and Bella. He even accepts that I am eternally clumsy! (Tells me often that I could find a way to hurt myself in a padded room. – He’s right. LOL)

The survey highlighted a couple things for me:
A. The books make me wish I was young again. Not that I’m old (32) but you know what I mean.
B. I loved Jacob/Bella and I think they’re relationship is pretty much the relationship I have with my husband. (Minus the gorgeous russet brown skin). The big king handsome funny man who’s easy to love and would do anything for his love.

Its funny, I just did it too and I figured I would be Edward and Bella all the way, and then when i really actually thought about it…I ended up comparing the type of relationship that I want (and pretty muh have) to Bella and Jacob’s…interesting…

I just did it. I think most people would sound kind of hard on Bella and Edward’s relationship, if it was a relationship between two people and not a vampire and a person it would be kinda creepy and not healthy. I found I want a relationship more like Alice and Jasper’s as well, but I’ve know that since the first time I read the books.

I just did this and I think I sounded a little hard on Edward and Bella. I love their story, but I had to be honest about their relationship. Before I did this survey I had not really thought to compare their relationship to the kind of relationship I want. And to top it all, it turns out I like the kind of relationship that Alice and Jasper have much more.
