Happy Birthday to The Host

Do you know where you were one year ago today? I do. I was in Provo, Utah lined up outside the Borders. I had spent the entire night on the sidewalk so that we could tickets to the The Host book signing. It was cold and uncomfortable but we had a blast and it was so worth it! Not only did I make some great friends that night but I also got to buy The Host that morning. The Host is my favorite Stephenie Meyer novel and I love it and its characters more and more each time I read it.
Thank you Stephenie for The Host- for Ian (*sigh*), Wanderer, Melanie, Jamie, Jared and the crew, for the lessons I learned from it and for allowing me to fall in love with a human again

I loved The Host, it was my favorite of all Steph’s books as well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Great Sci-Fi book from a non Sci-Fi reader! Hey…has anyone heard any word on a sequel? If so, I was hoping we would have heard something by now!
