Robert Pattinson auctions himself for charity

According to ET Online Robert Pattinson is doing more that dodging paparazzi and promoting movies while he’s in Cannes for the film festival. He put himself up for auction at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS 2009 Cocktail Party. What exactly was he auctioning? A meet and greet and a kiss on the cheek! That cherished prize ended up going to two lucky winners for $20,000 EACH!
The end result? $40,000 raised for AIDS research and prevention and two very happy Robert Pattinson fans. Sounds like a win-win situation to me

You know if we had been permitted into that auction the bidding would have gone even higher. Sell the kid, mortgage the house…

I agree Rebecca!!!! I don’t even have $20,000 but I would have been on the phone taking out loans,selling my car,house,myself..lol..;) (j/k on the last one! ) Ahhhh why couldn’t he auction himself off here?????????…:( I love him!..:)

Actually the kisses went for 22,000 euros each or $55,000 American.

He’s so cute though don’ t you think? Kind of dorky cute! Definitely self deprecating. I love it!
I would have gone into debt for $20,000 especially for such a good cause!

I love him….he just seems sooo uncomfortable…He is probably really struggling with the idea that someone would pay that for a kiss…….Which makes him even more attractive.
