Robert Pattinson confirms he will return for Breaking Dawn

Posted on 19. May, 2009 by in News

Robert Pattinson has confirmed that IF Breaking Dawn the movie is made he will be returning in the role of Edward Cullen. There has been no confirmation from Summit that Breaking Dawn is going to be filmed

Pattinson told The Hollywood Reporter that he is committed to starring in the final outing to date but doesn’t know when backers Summit Entertainment will begin production because of the actor’s jam-packed shooting schedule.

Fans have been hoping for a movie version of the fourth novel from Stephenie Meyer’s best-sellers, so Pattinson’s commitment is the biggest fillip yet.

BD must be filmed and he must play the role of Edward. Lova ya Rob.

I remember how excited I was when I heard that Summit had greenlighted New Moon and then Eclipse. I told everyone that would listen and then some. I’m thrilled over Breaking Dawn and of course ROB. How could they possibly do BD without him? A generic substitute would never do! =)

Of course he’ll have to play Edward as wouds all the other cast members have to reprise their roles in BD or it just wouldn’t work. i really hope that they do make BD as it’s one of my favs

Why in the world would Summit NOT want to make Breaking Dawn? Talk about turning your back on the moolah machine.

I’m glad to hear his intentions. Somebody get a contract! I knew he wouldn’t want to miss out on finally sacking Kristen in BD- I mean that in the most endearing of ways. Still wondering how they’re going to keep this last one PG-13. Do you think they could create a racier version for the TwilightMoms?

RebeccaK I totally agree in the racier version. I just don’t know how they will pull off their very romantic bed scenes. Lots of shots of torn up pillows and broken bed frames?!
