Robert Pattinson’s Newest Project

Rob announced in Cannes that he would be taking on a role in the the film adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s short story “Bel Ami”. Currently, there is no female in the lead role opposite Rob.However, Rob stated that the actress in that role “needs to be literally inspirational.”
According to MTV.com:
“Bel Ami” is scheduled to start shooting in Paris next year. Pattinson managed to draw some parallels between his character in “Bel Ami” and Edward Cullen from “Twilight,” saying, “They’re both about commitment.”
