E! Online: Casting for Riley, Seth (!!!) & Leah Clearwater

E! Online is reporting on the casting being done for Eclipse (my personal favorite of the saga):
Riley “is a handsome, blond, clean-cut college boy who falls victim to Victoria,” the notice reads. He’s in his early to mid 20s and “plays an integral role in Victoria’s attempt to murder Bella Swan.”
“Seth Clearwater is a “tall, gangly-limbed boy with a huge, happy grin,” the notice reads. “Seth idolizes Jacob.”
19-year-old Leah Clearwater [is] the only female member of the La Push wolf pack: “She is tall and slender with beautiful skin and short cropped black hair. She would be considered gorgeous if not for the perpetual scowl she carries due to a broken heart and her anger issues.”
For Seth (!!!) and Leah, the last two critical Quileute tribe and La Push wolf pack members, they are looking for Native American or First Nations actors to fill the roles just as they did with the pack members in New Moon.
(And I promise, by the time Eclipse is released, I’ll get over my use of !!!. I just really, really like Seth!!! Oh jeez, I did it again, didn’t I?)

No you won’t Julie&Jasper, you still have to get through Seth!!!!! in BD. lol. I can’t wait to see who they cast as this most lovable of characters.

Ooo, I like her for Leah. The little blurb on her site says she auditioned for Emily, I don’t see her as an Emily but definitely see her as a Leah! (I’m getting so excited for Eclipse, and NM isn’t even released yet!It’s kinda ridiculous….)

Sweet, I think Nicole Lee Smith would be the perfect Leah, thanks for posting the link! I actually pictured Leah as a petite athletic girl, seeing as though she is the tiniest wolf!

I looked at both girls that you guys requested, Nicole is right, she would make a good Emily not Leah cuz the structure of her face doesnt fit Leahs and she has blue eyes not an indian trait, and taralynn is hisapnic shed never pull Leah off, native americans look way different from hispanics. But theres a girl i kno who is an all blood native american. Her names Victoria Holt, she looks similar to nicole but she has brown eyes, shes 5’4” , and she has a more native american look, if i get a pic ill show you guys. : )

I looked at all the the suggested Leah’s and they all have a shot. But my choice for Leah Clearwater is Sara Tomko. Based off her acting videos she has what it takes to be Leah. Go to http://www.saratomko.com and click on reels. She has a demo on the front page but I think it’s best to look at the reels for the full length.
A lot of people are in support of Sara. There is a fan made video on youtube that’s worth watching

Lauren hazlett would be perfect for the role of Leah clearwater. She fits the description of the Leah perfectly. She is native American, not Hispanic like those other people. And is a model , and has experience acting. Check her out on recollections.biz. She is the native American looking one with black hair. No need to look for anyone else. Lauren hazlett is perfect.

OK, I looked at all of the suggestions above and the only one I can really see playing Leah is Nicole Lee Smith. She by far looks the most fierce! Leah has to be a strong fierce fire ball.

The obvious person to play this role is Q’orianka Kilcher, who played Pocahontas brilliantly in “New World”. A genuine dark-eyed indigenous beauty with a sultry screen presence. She would be unbelievable in this role.

Qorianka Kilcher is still the best and most qualified actress out there, and she is 19 and native american.
She was put forward for an oscar campaighn at age 14 and everyone who ever worked with her seems to sing her praise in Interviews!
