EW.com reveals New Moon Movie Tie-In Cover

EW.com has revealed the New Moon book Movie Tie-In cover-
Attention Team Jacob: Little, Brown has revealed their cover for the movie tie-in edition of New Moon, which features an exclusive image from the Twilight franchise’s second film. Taylor Lautner fans should certainly pick up more than a few copies (Those arms! That smoldering stare! Remember, he’s only 17!). As for Team Edward…well, at least the image proves that the moon is not, in fact, made of green cheese.

After I got past looking at Jacob, (Ka-CHOW! is right), I got the feeling like the moon is almost “Eclipsed” with EC, so I wonder if that is the intent?
Not sure about the Wolf Pack boys, the two standing are ok, but the one on the left looks like he’s crawling and the other looks like he’s poised to attack.
But, I’m definitely thrilled with the main focus on Jacob & Bella . . . !!!

Now THAT should be the official movie poster! It says “New Moon” a whole lot more than the actual movie poster.
I love Edward in the Moon and Jacob front and center with his arms around Bella. I love the wolf pack acting all wolfy in the background crawling on the rocks and such.
And it’s in La Push – which is appropriate.
AWESOME! I can’t stop looking at it!!!

First off, Endless Twilight, I love the comment “the wolf back acting all wolfy”. Classic! Stephanie should have used that in the book! Second, it is so nice to read these comments instead of the ones on the actual site. People are getting down right mean! I personally think I am Team Switzerland, or Team J & E since they both play such important parts in Bella’s life. The only issue I have is that a New Moon is not seen ~ hence Edward being gone! And here we have, yet again, a moon that is seen! This book is not called Cresent Moon! Sorry, it’s the science teacher in me. Aaaa, is it November yet?

I am in agreement with those who said this should have been the poster. Bella actually looked more pained in this than the movie poster……
But Robert Pattinson sells hence the actual New Moon poster they have released so far.

WOW! This poster is definitely more appropriate for New Moon. As much as we love Edward , New Moon focuses on the Pack’s evolvement in the story and Jacob and Bella’s relationship. I have to admit that there were many points while I was reading that I wanted Bella to be with Jacob. But, ultimately I always hoped Edward wood jump out from behind a tree somewhere — LOL — and save the day. I am anxiously anticipating the November 20th arrival.

Wow! He’s only 17! He’s only 17! He’s only 17! Ok, enough of that. I love this cover! I like how Bella’s arms are crossed and she has some pain on her face, like she is trying to keep everything from falling out of the hole in her chest. It’s perfect. It is New Moon. I know that they shouldn’t show any bit of the Moon, but we would be wondering why they put Edward’s face up there.

I love the cover!!! However, everytime I look at Edward’s eyes it reminds me of posters of Anakin Skywalker as a newly minted as Darth Vader.

I love Bella’s stance, like she’s trying to both push Jacob away but keep him close at tje same time. It shows how she’s feeling torn. And Edward almost like a ghost in the background. It’s way better than the movie poster. I’ll have to take another look because I totally missed the other wolves the first time I looked at it.
