Shimmerskin has done it again…. here is the month of June through a TwilightMOMS eyes~

In addition to the well-known special days of June, here are some you may not be familiar with.

June is Drive Safe Month, AKA Drive Like a Cullen Month

June is Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Month. Can you say “Vegetarians?”

The first drive-in movie theater opened in June, 1933, which was the same year Rosalie Hale was changed. June is also Rose Month.

June is Safety Month, so Be Safe, already.

First week of June=Fishing Week, which Charlie avidly observes

Second week=Little League Baseball Week.

Fourth week=Camping Week. Particularly in tents on mountain tops during blizzards.

June 1 is Kentucky Day (1792, 15th state). Kentucky is in Appalachia, next to Tennessee, where Emmett comes from.
June 1 is also Tennessee Day (1796, 16th state). Didn’t you hear me? Tennessee is where Emmett comes from.

June 4 is Angelina Jolie’s birthday. She is on track to adopt as many children as the Cullens.
June 4 is also the anniversary of Henry Ford’s first car. Cullens LIKE cars.
June 4, 1937–the first shopping cart was created. Alice may have had something to do with that.

June 7 is the Full Moon.

June 8 is Oceans Day. Legislation pending to combine it with Cliffdiving Day.

June 8 is also Jelly Donut Day. Don’t you think jelly donuts look like they’re full of congealing blood?

June 9 is Best Friends Day. All my best friends are Twilight Moms.

June 12 is Open The Window Day. But have Edward oil it first.
June 12 is also Peanut Butter Cookie Day. Shimmerskin’s favorite.

June 18 is Casual Day. Of course, for Bella Swan, every day is Casual Day.
June 18 is also Go Fishing Day. Once again, Charlie avidly observes.

June 19 is St. Jude’s Day. St. Jude is the patron saint of lost causes, like when one goes up against the Volturi. And Bella wears a St. Jude prayer bracelet in Twilight the Movie.

June 20 is West Virginia Day (35th state, 1863) Shimmerskin was born in W.V. But not in 1863.
June 20 is also the anniversary of Errol Flynn’s birth. Errol Flynn was hot enough to be a Cullen.
June 20 is also Bald Eagle Day. Jacob likened Edward to an eagle and Bella to the fish it catches.
June 20 is also Loch Ness Day. Go, Nessie!
And, oh yeah…JUNE 20 IS EDWARD CULLEN’S BIRTHDAY!!!!!

June 21 is Father’s Day. Charlie, Carlisle, Billy, and Edward will all get new ties.

June 22 is the New Moon.

June 23 is Pink Day. Bella’s birthday had pink decorations.

June 26, the first toothbrush was invented in 1498. Even vampires brush their teeth. Probably. Hopefully.

June 27 is Sunglasses Day. Especially Raybans.

June 28 is Paul Bunyan Day. But I’ll bet Emmett could take him.

June 29 is Camera Day. Bella got a camera for her birthday this one time….
June 29 is also Ducks and Woodlands Day. Forks has woodlands.
June 29, 1964 is when the television remote control was introduced. Charlie rejoiceth.

June 30 is Superman’s birthday. Yeah, so? June 20 was a SuperVampire’s birthday!
June 30 is also Meteor Day. Bella shot through Edward’s night like a meteor.
