I’m from the Joan Jett generation. I think Kristen has the look. Can’t wait to see her with Joan’s black eyeliner and rocker attitude.

I am cool with it bc she did it for a role, but I HATE THAT HAIR!!!!!!!! i cant wait to see her rock out though, Joan Jett was a bada$$

I actually think she is a good fit for the Joan Jett Character….ive been looking forward to the runaways..i sure hope she can pull off Joan hardcore attitude….it would really suck if we saw Bella in this movie!!! :/

I LOVED Joan Jett, but NOT that hair! … wonder what’s gonna happen when she needs to be Bella again? hair extensions? That’s not a look Bella Swan would ever have! hummm… Any ideas?

It’s kind of lame that we’re being asked to give opinions on Kristen’s new looks – outside of the context of whether she’s a believable Joan Jett or not. Didn’t anybody read The Beauty Myth? I mean, who cares whether we like the new hair or not. I’m sure Kristen doesn’t give a hoot, which is part of the reason she’s so refreshing amongst the physical/material driven aspect of Hollywood’s young and old.
This girl takes her craft seriously, and that’s what I’m interested in.

RebeccaK, ITA. KS is very real, and she proves that with her Chuck Taylors at the Mtv awards, and how awkward she is addressing crowds. IMHO, she is the most real chick in Hollywood right now. I loved her even before Bella, and even more now. She seems like a girl that would hang out with me and we could have fun jsut shooting the sh** so to speak!

While I do not like the hairstyle, I’ve got to hand it to Kristen for being completely AWESOME! She is throwing herself into this role and I can’t wait to see the movie.

I think she will be great. I watched in the movie “Into the Wild” it is was a small role but I really like her. By the way it is a great movie

Totally admire how she gets into her role and will do anything to look like the character……but it definitely is not a wig, right? Because how will she grow out the layers in time for filming Twilight Eclipse in August?

Not a huge fan of the cut on anyone, Joan or Kristen. But that’s why they rock, THEY DON’T CARE WHAT I THINK!
