It would very fitting for Twilight Moms to have a “Bella” Cake Contest. So…how about it?

But wait, what if I WANT the bloodthirsty vampire to knock it over? I wonder if I made one if Jasper would appear….

I’m thinking I might try to make this for my best friends 30th b-day. It would be very cool I think. The contest idea is a good one.

I’m a cake designer/decorator and the cake is really not much to it (if you are used to working with fondant)…the best thing is to ask the owners of http://www.cakecentral.com if they would host a competition in conjunction with TM. Reason being is that site is full of a wide range of “cake people” with incredible imaginations and skill levels (beginner to couture) .

Oh as a suggestion if you are going to make the cake use Satin Ice Fondant (can be ordered at http://www.globalsugarart.com or an equivalent) DONT use Wilton brand (buck nasty chemical stuff). I’ve got other suggestions/tips if needed just pm me in the TM forums.

Thanks for global sugar art tip. I’ve worked with fondant and those stripes wouldn’t be too hard… but the wilton stuff does taste nasty…thanks!

Thanks Icarianangel, I think that’s a great idea. I love cake decorating and would totally be into this contest.

I’m crossing my fingers for this one.

Why is it GREEN? It’s a Pink cake in the book. Why change something like that? I want to make this cake now, only in shades of pink just to show that it can look just as good.

    Bring on the cake contest.
