MetroNews: Taylor Lautner on his meatier role

MetroNews.ca continues their coverage from the New Moon set.  Today they have their interview with Taylor Lautner discussing his role of Jacob Black-

Q. And you have a huge role this time…
A. It’s a little bit bigger, yeah! It’s exciting because I’m excited to bring alive the new Jacob Black for the fans.

Q. You look like an 80’s rock star with your long hair!
A. Sometimes I look in the mirror and I don’t recognize myself. It’s an actual wig. It’s glued to my head in the front and it gets itchy sometimes. You can see the lace if you look close, but it doesn’t come across on camera. It gives me a totally different look. I don’t even look like myself. But it’s fun.

    I am sooo looking forward to seeing Taylor flesh out (no puns intended) Jacob’s character! I think his charisma will fit wonderfully with Jacob’s sense of humor.

    Very good interview.

    Taylor is great. Since the beginning he has presented himself with style and composure. I’m so glad he is Jacob Black. I’m very excited to see him in New Moon.

    Taylor Lautner deserves everything that’s coming to him…success!, couldn’t happen to a nicer guy!
    The dedication and commitment he has invested in bringing “Jacob Black ” to life is nothing short of amazing. When he speaks of “Jake” you can tell- he understands, he “gets” him and it shows. Taylor owns this role.
    So proud of him and his efforts.Ya gotta love him! ;)
    Summit could never have found a better Jacob.
