Internet rumors have started to circulate that Sheen may enter another prominent movie chain in the near future by taking on the role of Bond’s deadliest foe, Blofeld. Supposedly he is currently in negotiations to join the cast of the next 007 movie. The film is set to be released sometime in 2011.
“Michael is hot property right now and it is felt that he’s the right man to bring Blofeld back to life,” an unnamed source told the Daily Express newspaper. “Michael was a Bond fan in his youth, so this would be a dream role for him.”
MTV also has an article on this development.
I for one would be excited to see Michael in a Bond film. I have truly enjoyed seeing his work and learning more about him as I write for the blog. Isn’t it funny how such a nice and down to earth guy can play a villian so well?? Do you think he has what it takes? Below is a picture of Blofeld from the original Bond movies.

PERFECT casting. That is an iconic role (can you say Austin Powers??LOL) and he can pull it off. Few could, but he can. If this pans out, congrats to Michael!!!
