One of those moments only a Twilighter would understand~
Posted on 21. Jun, 2009 by AmyO in TwilightMOMS
Erin (aka erinlovesjoe) and some other Georgia TwilightMOMS had a get together on Saturday in celebration of Edward’s birthday, which included a cake. Erin had a little adventure at the checkout stand while purchasing the cake and candles. Luckily one of the other Moms caught Erin’s retelling of the story. I laughed so hard when I saw the video that I asked Erin to let me share it with all of you and she said I could. Enjoy!!
Here’s a picture of the cake that caused such a commotion-

That is the funniest things I have ever seen!!! I love it! What is even funnier is that the bag “boy” figured it out. So, I guess he’s read the books, too! Too funny!

Yes, it is a LaPush necklace. Good eyes! I actually make and sell them. But, I feel tacky hawking my wares here. I was honored that my embarrassing moment was on the blog. lol But, Pm and I’ll tell you about the necklace..

What a great video. I felt like I was at the party, hanging out with some TwilightMoms in Georgia, enjoying a hilarious story. Even my 1 year old baby on my lap was laughing. Erin is a great story teller and looks like she has such a cute personality.

Erin you are so adorable, and a wonderful story teller. I was laughing so hard. I’d totally have birthday cake for Edward (any time is a good time for cake) if his birthday wasn’t between ds#2 & mine. Or if my hubby wouldn’t commit me for it.
Maybe next year I’ll try to sneak it in somehow & sing happy birthday to him in my mind.

I’m so glad to come here and read the nice comments from the people that understand. YouTube’s commenters were so mean! I hope you aren’t listening to them, Erin. We love what a major fan you are. You really are a great storyteller. I was trying to stay out of the way when I realized you were being filmed, but you made me laugh so hard I kept getting in there! My sister was freaking out when she saw it. I had already told her the story on the way home from the lunch. So funny! I’d love to tell the bagboy that he’s unknowingly famous…

Erin, it was totally awesome story. Thanks for the memory. I agree that it was just as funny to watch it online as it was being there in person. Can’t wait for the next get together.

This was so great! So glad y’all shared this story. I read the YouTube comments and there are a lot of h8rs out there who can’t relate to the fact that Twilight has been such a big influence on bringing people who may not have otherwise met together as friends. One of the advantages of being a woman is we reserve the right to use any event to make it an occasion to get together with the people we enjoy being around. There were plenty of get togethers all around the country and the Georgia Tmoms were not the only ones taking the opportunity for a fun time. : )
