Southern California MOMS Lemonade Stand

Some of our Southern California Moms participated in the American Cancer Societies Relay for Life this weekend.  When they weren’t out running the relay they were staffing a TwilightMOMS Lemonade Stand for our official charity Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.  Charlotte was the leader of the group and here’s the note she sent us~

We had some great donations from a Twilight DVD to jewelry and some handmade cards, we sold out of all the jewelry and only had a couple cards left at the end and sold almost 20 gallons of lemonade. I have 4 awesome helpers, 3 are TMs and the other is kind of our adopted TM.
 
You can see in some of the pictures that we also had shirts made with my sister in laws picture cause she passed away from Leukemia last year. She was a social worker in Riverside county and I know helping children was very close to her heart and I know she would be proud to know that we are continuing to help children.

They raised $476.00 for Team Alex!!  Way to go ladies!  Thank you so much for your love and support!

    I really loved reading this story!!! I am the mother of a cancer survivor and of course a huge Twilight fan. I am also the chair person for my local Relay For Life event this year. I am new to this site and I am happy to see that their are other moms out there that are like me.
