Twilight Cast on winning Best Movie Award

Larry Carroll talked to several cast members right after Twilight won Best Movie-

They’ve been an underground sensation, an independent film, and an out-of-left-field hit. Tonight, the stars of “Twilight” took their ascension to the ultimate level: Best Movie winners….

“I think it was pretty clear that Catherine should talk,” Welch explained backstage, saying that the cast agreed beforehand to let director Hardwicke give the acceptance speech should they win — but only because another main creative influence wasn’t in the house. “Stephenie [Meyer] should have been here and, as Kristen said, accepted every award. Because this really is all her.”
