5 Scenes That Must be In Eclipse
Posted on 28. Jul, 2009 by Golden_Topaz_Eyes_42 in News

Reelzchannel has compiled a list of the scenes that they feel have to be in the Eclipse film. Do you agree with their picks?
I think I am hoping for this one -
Character Flashbacks
In Eclipse, we finally get to hear Jasper’s and Rosalie’s stories. Jasper’s crescent-like scars are explained and we see him meeting Alice for the first time. Rosalie’s past is a little more dramatic, with a nasty fiancé and his friends all but killing her. Keeping these chapters in the movie will allow for some awesome historical scenes, and might even gain Rosalie some fans. Plus, Jasper’s story is kind of crucial to Eclipse — it explains newborns and the older vampire’s allegiance to the Volturi.

I really want to see the part where Edward comes home from hunting & gives Bella the ‘wrong’ idea & she says “Did you change your mind?” That is one of my favorite scenes & I would LOVE to see it.

I totally agree with those five, there are others I’d love to see in there (like the whole book, Eclipse is my favorite) but those are very important.

The bonfire & the legend of the third wife. Absolutely necessary to set up Bella’s response in the fight. And in addition to the ones already mentioned I’d like them to include Alice “kidnapping” Bella and Jacob picking her up at school.

I’d like to see when Bella goes to La Push to see Jacob and forgets to take the cell phone, breaks her hand slapping Jacob. Then both Jacob and Bella meet up with Edward back at Bella’s.

Both of the Edward’s bedroom scenes are a must for me. I like the action in Eclipse too, but this is primarily a love story, so the bedroom scenes are crucial. The tent scene will be interesting as well. PLEASE, PLEASE, David and Melissa, don’t mess this movie up! Elicpse was my favorite of the books, and I’m very concerned it won’t be done right.

I agreebut most importantly…you need to get Edward and Jacob’s relationship right. One of the best chapters in the entire sage is Switzerland that is the KEY to Eclispe~to hte entire series. Edward and Jacobs relationship make this book/movie what it is and will be! It needs to be FUNNY! Like the book was!

Okay, I have to say that the tent scene is my favorite. It has Edward and Jacob finally talking things over PLUS we get to see a side of Edward we’re not used to, jealousy. How many of us where smiling when Edward and Jacob decided the truce was over and Edward, knowing Jacob could hear, listed his 5 top evenings of his emortal life including the night Bella agreed to marry him. LOVE IT

Oh, geez – only 5 things? I have more than that!!
where to begin….
1.) Edward smelling the vampire as Bella opens the door.
2.) Edward asking Bella if she stabbed Jacob after he smells the blood from Jacob grasping the knife too hard.
3.) the Quileutes telling their stories of the dream warrior and how they became wolves
4.) I NEED to see Bella punch Jacob and then Edward threatening Jacob, Emmett and Rosalie under the Jeep and Bella saying, No Emmett, I punched a werewolf.
5.) the party scene where the Cullens and wolves team up
6.) instruction in the field ( x 2)
7.) Edward “kidnapping” Bella taking her to the cullen house while the rest of the family is hunting.
8.) the proposal scene in the bed
9.) Alice being pissed about Bella and Edwards plans to go to Vegas then convincing Bella to let her plan the wedding
10.) the tent scene
11.) the fight in both the meadow and around the tent
12.) Bella fainting after she hears Jacob was hurt
13.) the volturi coming and killing Bree
14.) Bella and Edward in the meadow
15.) Bella seeing her dress for the first time
SOOOOOOOO much of Eclipse and Breaking Dawn need to be correct!!!

I only know that the character Seth is the heart of
Eclipse – he has to be included – they’ve named
the actor to portray Riley, but what about Seth?

Your right and the only person to mention Seth that ive seen. He plays an important part. Here is the thing these movies NEED to be longer.

There is no doubt about it; the tent scene was absolutely my favorite part in Eclipse, and almost my favorite in the entire saga. The dynamics between Jacob and Edward are fantastic, and so is their back and forth dialog. Plus, the fact that Bella has to turn to Jacob for warmth in the tent, over Edward seemed like quite a dramatic shift for her. Mmm hmm, good ol’ fashioned love triangle!!
Also, has everyone forgotten that STEAMY KISS between Jacob and Bella?! Hello?? This is the sexiest.. (that’s right, I said it) scene in the saga! This kiss ALMOST made me switch to Team Jacob. But I can’t help myself; I love Edward too much to do that! LOL
I am seriously so excited to see these two parts of the book come to life on the big screen. Please DEAR GOD, if the crew gets nothing else right in Eclipse, I will be fine as long as these two scenes are given the justice they deserve!! Amen??

You bring up a good point. Also, let us not forget the scene that has Bella visiting Jacob during his recovery from the fight. This is a very emotional and excruciating moment for both of them. This is when they discover that their love for one another is not enough and more powerful forces are at work here.

I agree with a lot of what people have posted.
1. Rosalie and Jasper’s Flashback scenes
2. Jasper instructing the Cullens and wolves to fight
3. The tent scene between Edward and Jacob
4. Bella kissing Jacob
5. Bedroom scene where Edward proposes to Bella
6. Seth included in the Victoria/Riley fight

I watched The Goblet of Fire in ABC Family some days ago and noticed Rob has an extremely expressive face, capable of communicating a lot without words. In the underwater scene when he “asked” Harry without words, of course, to let him save the girl who had been his date at the ball. Really amazing.

1. The sleepover: where Bella tries to Seduce Edward, but he says not until they are married (hillarious/classic) (that whole scene has got to be in the movie)
2. Bella actually accepting the ring and Edward getting down on one knee (yes i know its corny, but i need to see it!) (swoon!)
3. Fire and Ice (tent scene) brilliant –just take it straight from the book
4. Victoria/Newbie Vamp fight
5. Where Bella goes to see Jacob, tells him she loves him,
BUT …… she loves Edward MORE! duh!

Dear PattinsonForever…we’re on the same wavelength AND I’d love to get you BD correction!
The ONE scene no one had mentioned yet was Bella saying good-bye to Jacob. This is SO HUGE. It really showed how grown up, responsible, AND human she is. How she had to pull off the road just to let the pain consumed her, within minutes as Alice can see, Edward was right by her truck. He stayed w/her, comforted her as she cried all night AND even questioned if Bella’s so much in pain, is it the right decision? Charlie comforted her was endearing too.
Eclipse is my favorite w Twilight neck & neck behind. I swear I remember almost every loving phrases coming out of Edward. W/that said, Jacob is reckless, FUN and exciting!
What a nice surprise Chris has done for NM so far. I hope to be as pleasantly surprise w/ David’s directing, even though he’s hard-core vampire in his past jobs, yikes. I know the fighting scenes are going to be awesome, just hope the endearing love triangle story continues…with Edward winning, of course.

The top scenes are defiently something we will look forward to seeing… One of the scenes I defiently wanna see is when Bella has the sleepover and after Edward comes home after leaving Bella “The bed”.. that’s so sweet.. Also the tent scene… When jacob has to keep bella warm and it drives Edward mad… don’t wanna see him upset but wanna see him be “the jealous one” making sure he knows that’s his woman…

I also wanna see the scene where she was caught going with Jacob and Edward was behind in the car when she was going to Angela’s house helping her with the graduation invitations… he was following her then after she left he finlly met up with her…

The sleepover is important, the romantic, old-fashioned down on one knee proposal, the newborn fight scene(victoria/riley/SETH), they have to have tent scene w/edward and jacob in their mental conflict over bella and jasper and rosalie telling their stories especially jasper his is crucial to seeing how newborns react.
