Anna Paquin Speaks on Twilight and True Blood

I, for one, am a huge fan of both series, but not everyone agrees. This little rivalry reminds me of the Twilight fans vs. Harry Potter fans that we’ve seen in the past. Can’t we all just get along?

In a recent interview with AOL Television Anna Paquin revealed that perceived rivalry between True Blood and Twilight is strictly coincidental. When asked if Paquin gets sick of the constant Twilight comparisons, Anna revealed, “It seems kind of funny … just because two things happen to end up being released around the same time, it’s not like we all got together beforehand and had a chat about how we’re going to make sure vampires had a comeback. But from the way people ask about it, you’d think that we’d all had sort of a sit-down. But it’s coincidence, really [laughs].”

    Hey I love both series and true blood kinda gives me a vampire fix while I patiently wait for New Moon :)

    I love them both(Twilight books, and the Trueblood series). I recently picked up the book Dead Until Dark.

    I got hooked on True Blood, having to rent it since I don’t have HBO anymore. I’ve ordered the books, can’t wait to start reading, and then when that’s done I’ll have to resort to Nosferatu if New Moon isn’t out yet. Hurry up November!
