New Moon Soundtrack News

In an interview with HitFix New Moon director Chris Weitz stated that Radiohead and Band of Skulls will be included on the New Moon Soundtrack. He also mentions that he’s hoping that the Kings of Leon will be on the soundtrack.
Director Chris Weitz has confirmed to HitFix.com that Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Bon Iver will be contributing all-new tracks to the film “Twilight Saga: New Moon.”
“I selfishly want to put songs in by artists I love. And some the cast and crew also happen to love,” says Weitz. “I think [Bon Iver] is fantastic. He says he wrote it for the film, but who ever knows if it might just be something laying around in his cupboard.”

Bon Iver? You’ve got to be kidding me. I “discovered” them last year after listening to an hour long podcast on NPR regarding music/albums of the year. Love them, have suggested them to multiple friends, and now they’re going to be on the New Moon soundtrack? It’s magic when my favorite worlds collide!
