Robert Pattinson Interview with Spanish Magazine

According to Twilight Poison, Los 40 Principales magazine, in their edition for Spain, interviewed Rob in the month of February. Twilight Poison has graciously translated the article for all of us non-Spanish speakers. Here’s a sneak peek:

Is it true that you did castings for vampire characters before?
Yes, I did an audition for True Blood, but that didn’t work out. I didn’t think I would get the role of Edward Cullen either, because the character is very enigmatic. I didn’t want to play the biggest vampire stereotype, so I tried to humanize him.

I am trying to imagine which True Blood character Rob auditioned for – I have to admit I am super intrigued.

    Maybe you don’t understand spanish, but you’ll sure understand Rob picture in page 3 :)

    The intro to the interview says that it’s confirmed that Breaking Down will become a movie! Did we already knew it for sure??

    Eric maybe? Or maybe a new vampire they haven’t shown yet.
    It would be such a thrill if he could do like a guest appearance the ratings would go through the roof :)

    When I started hearing about all RP’s projects, I started getting worried about Breaking Dawn (knowing that Eclipse was already scheduled). When I googled it I saw news from Cannes in the spring when he confirmed he would play Edward in BD, but it has not been scheduled. He is worth so much for the project, I hope he gets every dime he deserves!
