   we recently started watching True Blood and well, Tw is BETTER! I like the spin on vampires coming out in the day lite, that they dont eat and I come to think that fangs are kinda dumb looking.

   Has anyone noticed all the similarities between the 2? Last night we watched episode 9 (netflix) and as we were watching it I would think – thats in Tw, Edward and Bella did that, etc…

   True Blood will get me thru til Nov when NM comes out.

   No offense to anyone, but I just think that Tw is better.

   Ack – what happened to the no spoiler policy? The pic of RPatz and KStew kissing posted is a shot from filming the new movie. I was spoiled on Facebook by accident as it was posted to my page automatically with another group’s updates, but I expect more from TMs! : )

   I love both. One I get to share with my 11 year old daughter(of course it’s Twilight) and the other is just for me. Very different subject matter here. Twilight is a family affair and True Blood is only for adults much a rated R show. The only thing they have in common is the vampire theme.

   Twilight is sooo much better than True Blood!!! One of the biggest differences is that True Blood leaves nothing to the imagination, with it’s nudity and sex scenes on the show. Where as Twilight is much better because it does not show everything and I feel is on a much higher moral scale because of it. Just my opinion…

   My husband and I watched a show about True Blood and we both were SHOCKED at how much the show IS Twilight. I mean, when Sam (I think? I am new to the series.) changed into a dog? Are you kidding me? A shape-shifter. Almost like they took the Twilight characters and tweeked them slightly and added sex. With that being said…I do like True Blood (especially that sheriff…yum-O!). I like that Sookie is much more confident than Bella, and more grown up. I can appreciate and enjoy both of them. I also like how everyone knows about the existance of vampires and that there is tensions with the two species trying to coeists. But…Edward is them MUCH HOTTER vampire! Maybe they should all do a show together! The Cullens in the Big Easy! Haha!

   TB is based on Charlaine Harris’s Southern Vampire Mystery series. There are 9 books so far and they are great. However, they are for the mature reader. Although there are many similarities human/vamp love, telepathy, shape shifting, etc., they are two extremely different universes… and I absolutely love them both! Don’t hate me, but I believe Harris’s books came out first…

   well I love them both, and yes I agree Harris books were out first. Now Stephanie Myers created a beautiful love story
