I know, I know… you’re sitting there reading this thinking “Why is there a post about a book written by Justin Furstenfeld on the TwilightMOMS blog?” There is a method to my madness (and a Twilight connection), I promise!
I’m the first to admit that I will use any excuse to blog about Blue October. I can’t help it! Stephenie introduced me to their music through her playlists and the Breaking Dawn tour and I’ve fallen hard. (No, I’m not stalking my UPS man to find out when my Special Edition of Breaking Dawn with the Breaking Dawn Tour DVD in it is going to get here, why would you suggest such a thing?)
Because of my love of all things Blue October I just had to have a copy of Crazy Making by Justin Furstenfeld. Imagine my delight when the book arrived and I discovered that the forward was written by the very woman that brought Blue October into my life- Stephenie Meyer!
No, I’m not going to post the forward- you have to buy your own copy to know that info

Blue October are fantastic and a pleasure to meet in person. I used to bartend at a restaurant here in Houston and the owner was friends with them. This was a few years ago. He used to bring them into the restaurant for after hours parties and such. IT was good times! Thier music is dark and beautiful. Glad you have found a new love in them.

I also dream of being a Blue October groupie!!! I went to both shows here is Salt Lake this year and cannot wait until they come back again. I had the opportunity of meeting them at a sound check party at Salt Air and they are the most amazing down to earth guys! They were incredibly kind to their fans. Got my Breaking Dawn Special Edition yesterday and have watched the DVD twice. A little obsessed with them….maybe but how can you not be!! So thanks for the Blue October blog post.

I feel the same way about Blue October, any excuse to talk about them, blog about them, play their music…I’ll take it!!
I have been a fan of theirs for a long time so when I fell in love with the Twilight books and found them on Stephenie’s playlist, I couldn’t have been happier!
They really are an amazing group of musicians lead by (imo) the most talented writer/lead singer. I saw them in May on the Approaching Normal tour and will be seeing them at the end of this month on the Crazy Making tour. I love them 100 times more after seeing them, they are amazing live.
