Eclipse Director David Slade is keeping us up to speed on what’s going on on the set of Eclipse via his Twitter-
Rehearsals with Kristen, Billy Burke and Rob yesterday. Third week of shooting just hours away. Preparation, preparation preparation.

Holy moly, that photo of Taylor is absolutely beautiful. I honestly don’t think a professional photographer could have done much better!

So, I was kind of down on the whole David Slade thing when I first heard he was chosen to direct ‘Eclipse’. Then I saw Hard Candy. While the subject matter was a little too harsh for me (after becoming a mom I can’t stomach the violence), it (Hard Candy) was one of the most visually delicious movies I’ve seen in a long time – loved his sophisticated sense of color. So, to see him post photos is really exciting. The photo of Taylor is amazing – great light (and toning?)

I think Mr. Spade may just surprise us all. I haven’t seen hard candy but have seen 30 Days of Night, his style is quite interesting…it’s like you’re right there. I can’t wait to see what he does with the fight scenes. It will be fun to be “right there” in the bedroom, sleeping bag and meadow scenes! (wink, wink!!)
