Fansites react to ‘Meet Jacob Black’

After the new New Moon trailer “Meet Jacob Black” was released yesterday ReelzChannel went to the fansites to find out what the fans really thought of the trailer. Here are the questions they asked-
1. Overall, what’d you think — good, bad, or meh?
2. Jacob’s narration — necessary? Good or weird?
3. What “scene” were you happiest to see in the trailer?
4. Was there anything that made you leery about the adaptation?
5. Did you go to Bandslam just to see the trailer on the big screen?

- Overall, what’d you think — good, bad, or meh?
The acting, special effects, costumes, and everything look fantastic. I think it’s safe to say that fans have high expectations for New Moon. - Jacob’s narration — necessary? Good or weird?
It was a little strange at first, but also unique. Jacob’s narration serves as a good introduction to his character, and especially the important role Jacob plays in New Moon. - What “scene” were you happiest to see in the trailer?
Definitely the clips of the Volturi and the wolf pack! It was great to have a visual of these characters who are really first introduced in New Moon and that fans hadn’t seen in action before. - Was there anything that made you leery about the adaptation?
Originally I was worried about how the wolves would look, but that concern was laid to rest after the teaser trailer was released. Summit has done a fantastic job with bringing the wolves to life.

Wait. Wasn’t it Taylor’s narration? I guess I’ll have to go re-watch it. I think people are starting to identify the actors with the roles they play. In Taylor’s case, he fits the role of Jacob like a glove, so it’s understandable.

Is the “Meet Jacob Black” trailer the same trailer that was played in the previews to Bandslam?

I too, only took my daughter to see Bandslam, just so I could see the New Moon trailer. The trailer was amazing. I could’ve done without the banter from Taylor Lautner (nothing against you Taylor, I’m just saying). I’m glad we finally got some kind of glimpse at the Volturi. I wish they would’ve given us a little bit more. All in all, I can’t freakin wait to see this movie!

1.Good, too good.
2. I really liked the naration. It was something a bit different than audiences are used to and it set up the introduction of Jacob Black in NM very nicely. Also, who wouldn’t want to hear more of his voice;)?
3. The scene where Jacob is climbing up to Bella’s window. In the book this was such an interesting part and I often wondered how it would play out on screen. Oh no! Am I morphing into a team Jacob gal now??
4. I’m not too leery just yet, much more anxious for the movie however.

My daughter and I actually “sneaked” into watch this trailer before another movie
We both audibly gasped when we saw Jake’s amazing body after Bella’s motorcycle crash (OMG!!!). My favorite scene (besides that one!) was seeing Jacob leap into Bella’s window. His stunts look very cool! 92 days to go!!!
