Kings of Leon will not be on the New Moon Soundtrack

According to this Billboard.com article long rumored New Moon Soundtrack favorite, Kings of Leon, will not be on the New Moon soundtrack.
While all that is going on, Kings of Leon are pondering the release of another single for “Only By Night” — Followill is thumping for “Notion” — but will not, as rumored, be contributing anything to the soundtrack for “New Moon,” the second film in the “Twilight” series.

UGH! …sadness… so long as when stephenie finishes book you know which, she adds “closer” to the playlist, i’ll be gratified.

Really, all they need to do is add Closer to the soundtrack and put it in the movie…like when Rosalie calls Edward to tell him about Bella…OR…when we meet the Voltori! They don’t need to write a new song, Closer was meant for this movie!

Bummer. I was really hoping they would be able to contribute. Love them!!!! Closer would have been perfect I think.
