Peter Facinelli in Portland tomorrow

Peter Facinelli will be in Portland tomorrow, August 29th, signing autographs at Jantzen Beach Super Center.  Peter tweeted the details-

Coming to Portland THIS Saturday Aug. 29th at the Jantzen Beach Super Center to do an autograph signing. Noon-6pm. Come see me and help support the Doernbecher Children Center. Part of the proceeds to benefit the local children’s hospital in Portland. Hope to see you there. Looking forward to meeting you:)

FYI… There was supposed to be a “Twilight Convention” that weekend in Portland to help benefit the local Children’s Hospital. For some reason it was cancelled. So I decided to hold a signing anyway to still be able to help raise awareness and benefit the Doernbecher Children Center. Details in this article.

    That says a lot about Peter. I think that is so awesome he’s still taking time out of his schedule to do this, especially since the other convention was canceled.

    The convention was canceled because of low ticket sales. The fansite “talkingtwilight.com” is run by one woman and she thought it would be great to have a convention in Portland where the movie was filmed. It was going to be so cool! Anyway, she could not get (or didn’t know how to get) good advertising and didn’t sell the tickets. Very very sad!
