Stephenie Meyer has posted an update on her official site with books, movie and music recommendations.

Hey everybody! I hope you all had a great summer. I’m sorry I don’t update more, but it’s crazy how busy you can be without really having anything to update about. I decided to do an end of the summer recap like I did last year—just the books and music and movies I enjoyed most. I love to share good stuff.

As usual, there’s lots of good stuff there- looks like I’ll be making a stop at I-tunes and Amazon today. And because Stephenie turned me into the Blue October wanna-be-groupie that I am I just had to quote this little part of her summer wrap up-

And then I got to go see Blue October again. I love their shows. You can’t really know Blue October until you see them live. It’s an amazing experience.

Truer words have never been typed… if you get a chance to see them do not let it pass you by!

    Sometimes I think there is someone out there living the same life I do…and as it turns out that person is Stephenie Meyers!!! I love that she too when to see Bandslam JUST to see the New Moon trailer ~ haha! I did the same thing! AND I ended up loving the movie because I LOVE music but have no musical ability. Keep on groving soul sister!

    I am really disappointed that the Twilight Convention for Sept in Vancouver was moved to May!! I am going to Forks for Bella’s birthday bash (from Florida!) and was hoping maybe to catch the convention too. Bummer! Oh well I probably still couldn’t have afforded it!
    Have you listened to the Mitch Hansen band’s CD, Endless Day? It is awesome! He wrote all the songs for the Twilight saga. Beautiful songs, thought provoking songs, funny songs, it has it all – and all about Twilight! What could be better? I am so hoping they will be at the birthday bash.
    So nice to have a group that realizes Twilight fans are not all teens!
