Stephenie Meyer teams with Hobo Skate Co.

In April of this year Stephenie Meyer, along with multiple other Young Adult authors, took part in a fundraiser for their friend Faith.  The event was called Project Book Babe.  At that event mulitple items were auctioned off to raise money for Faith’s breast cancer battle.  One of those items was a Host Skateboard designed for the event by Hobo Skate Co. 

Isn’t it fabulous? The skateboard was the one thing I would have loved to be able to bid on at that event.  (But that is so not the topic of this post… moving on) 

Stephenie Meyer is teaming with Hobo Skate Co to produce a line of The Host products. 

And now the company is set to ride another pop-culture wave when it teams with “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer to sell merchandise based on her sci-fi thriller “The Host.”

Hancock and Swensen said that Meyer is involved in the design process, and, in fact, wanted to tweak one of the designs at the last minute, delaying the debut of the “Host” merchandise until next week.

It will be available online at first and then in major retailers.
